Hello, I am interested in working with children. I am not sure what field I want to work in but I have had work experience at nurseries and primary schools. I was researching about educational psychologists and I found one of your videos and found it really interesting. I have applied for university to do Childhood Studies and the course is really good, it gives a range of offers of different future careers. Educational psychologist is one of them (with further training). I was wondering whether you know the training and masters I would need to do if considering this option (whether it be work as a primary school teacher first if I get a pgce or get a psychology masters). If I am being completely honest, I am not sure what career path I want to take but I have enjoyed my experiences of working with children and want to continue being a role model and supporting their learning and development in some capacity.
