You could think of this as a narrower/better shaped Cooler Master MM710/MM711 ... but with optical switches and better build quality. Definitely worth a look. Razer is dominating these days.

Enough said. Purchased. I love my MM710, but it does occasionally get in my way when I’m going for precise long rage shots using fingertip. Very excited to try this out.

I just bought a mini and I can say it's a fantastic mouse so far. Perfect size for my hand when using claw grip on 18.5cm hands. Super lightweight making it easy to flick and the sensor feels surprisingly nice compared to my Steelseries sensei 310. Rating: 10/10
Update May 26th - Few months of use and I'd still give it a 10/10
Update August 16th - Been using this mouse for a while now and have been nothing but pleased with it... 10/10 again
Update November 7th - My mouse started to gather dust in the scroll wheel, making it do odd things like scroll backwards when going forwards. But this was no issue, blowing into the scroll wheel fixed it and everything went back to perfect condition. 10/10
Update January 31st 2021 - Liking this mouse the more I use it. 10/10
    Update March 28th 2021 - yea, 10/10
BAD NEWS UPDATE - April 3rd 2021 - The scroll wheel has now begun scrolling randomly in the opposite direction when scrolling up or down. This does not happen every time I scroll but it does happen probably at least 10% of the times I do. For instance when scrolling up it does the following... ^^^^^^¥^^^^^^^^¥^^^^^ if that makes any sense. I’ve had the mouse for a little over a year, so I’m not super annoyed. No conclusion for the issue yet, there could be something stuck down there. Might take the mouse apart and when I do I’ll let you know if I fix it... As of right now, 9.5/10
April 30th 2021 - Took it apart, tried using compressed air to fix the scrolling issue. Nothing seemed to work, so I put it back together. If anyone has any fixes please let me know!
Update July 4th 2021 - I still love it, no problems other than the scroll wheel. I'll probably buy another one soon... 9.5/10
Update September 17th 2021 - The scroll wheel is still randomly scrolling unfortunately, haven't been able to fix this issue as of lately. And according to a little bit of research, this is a pretty common issue among many different kinds of mice. 9.5/10
Update November 26th 2021 - The scroll wheel still randomly scrolls, though recently it's been acting properly. The issue seems to become more rare as time goes on, which is very abnormal. I took the mouse apart for some weight reduction which went really well, and I guess I might've accidentally fixed the issue. as of today, 9.75/10
Update January 8th 2022 - Still working very good scroll wheel has the same thing going on, but It's not too bad. 9.75/10
Update February 17th 2022 - (Final update coming soon...) - I just placed an order on a G wolves Hati S Stardust and depending on how that goes, my journey may be coming to an end. I'll keep you all posted and if I switch I will continue my journey on Rocket Jump Ninjas video on the Hati S. If you haven't seen that video go watch it, it's pretty funny! peace...
Update April 2nd 2022 - Welcome to the end! thanks for reading, hope this helped anyone who was looking to buy a new mouse! I ordered a Hati S which still hasn't come in yet but in the meantime I bought the DeathAdder V2 mini. For me I quickly realized that the DeathAdder V2 mini is actually a better fit for my hands than the viper mini. It's a little smaller in length, the same weight, and a little wider. But overall I'm definitely noticeably better at aiming with this one because of its shape.
SCROLL WHEEL ISSUE FIXED WITH VIPER MINI: I put a very small piece of paper through the hole where the mouse wheel sits on the left and the issue went away with no problem.
Final Conclusion: Viper Mini, Rating: 8.75/10
    Cons:
-Scroll wheel jittering on my copy
-Personally for me a little bit the shape
Current Mouse: DeathAdder V2 mini, Rating: 10/10
    Active 2022-April-2nd
    - - -
Thanks for the kind words in the comments :)

With how small it is and it’s shape it takes time to get used to, still to this day haven’t had any issues and still love the mouse. Hey again Rocket Jump Ninja! 😀 I'm dropping a comment stemming from a conversation we had in the comment section of your MM710 review. You are so amazing at what you do brother! You were spot on with the recommendation you made to me. I've gone from the G-Pro Wired -> G305 Wireless -> MM710 -> Viper Mini. I can confidently say that I am finally home with a mouse. Each of these mice has a great shape for a similar palm/claw grip style (especially if you've got small hands like me). The Viper Mini has strong structural integrity; no creaking or inconsistent button clicks. I prefer the bigger mid-size SIDE buttons on the Razer Viper Mini over the G-Pro Wired & G305 wireless. It just seems easier to keep a secure palm/claw grip and hit both side buttons with my thumb. The side buttons on the MM710 are also great, whereas the Logitech mice side buttons seem a bit too small (still great mice overall). As for the cable, I really do enjoy the lighter, more flexible one on the MM710. However, the difference between that and the Viper Mini is so minuscule that the Viper Mini surpasses the MM710 in so many other areas. I love how easy it is to grip the sides of the Viper Mini and MM710 compared to the very slick and round Logitech mice. I do like the plastic material used for the MM710 more for gripping, but the Viper Mini overall is much more sturdy and its contours suits my hand better. The Viper Mini is much, much more aesthetically pleasing while still out-performing the others. Last, but not least, the UI...The Razer Synapse UI is so much better than the Cooler Master UI its laughable. You can still achieve all the normal functionality with the MM710 like keybinds, macros, etc. but it has no RGB lighting, which is a little nice to have even though performance is High Priority. The interface for Synapse is just way cleaner and great for players who already use Razer devices like a keyboard or headset. For $35, the Viper Mini or MM710 is a STEAL!! by comparison to the price of the Zowie mice at $60+.
TLDR; buy the Viper Mini or the MM710 if you're about gaming performance! Only $35 is a HUGE steal!
Sorry for the lengthy comment Rocket Jump Ninja. You put so much effort into your videos that I felt that you deserved an equally, well thought-out review. My in-game performance has increased drastically because of your videos so I owe you a great deal of gratitude. Keep it up man and thanks for finding me the right mouse! Much ❤

I REALLLLLLLY hope that Razer makes a wireless version of the mini... I really want a small rechargeable wireless (not battery powered) mouse for my tiny hands! I used to use the original wired G Pro, and when the G305 came out I was SO disappointed. I really wanted a rechargeable wireless version of that small shell, even a lithium battery makes the mouse so much heavier, not to mention unbalanced. I'm currently using the G Pro Wireless, but it's a bit too big for me. I have tiny little female hands and almost all mice are way too big for me, and after going wireless it's hard to accept going back to wired and having that drag even with a mouse bungee again. So PLEASE RAZER, be the hero us tiny-handed people need, and make a Viper Mini Ultimate for us!

Bought this thanks to this channel and been using for 2 months now. The review was spot on, this mouse is just too good for that price especially for a Razer. As an ex G303(discontinued model) user, Its been a very long search of replacement for a mouse that have similar traits and I can say that I'm pretty impressed with what this mouse has to offer (still prefers G303 shape). The only difference is it is slightly narrower but its certainly adaptable.
The only thing turns me down is that the sensor, the LOD is way too high for me and if I turn it down in Synapse it caused tracking issues and its so hard to get used to! And the matte plastic finish on the side not that good for mouse grip, its slippery and kinda wished razer includes rubberized grip sticker for this mouse like they do for Deathadder Mini.
If Razer release a full spec-ed wireless version of Viper Mini Ultimate, they gonna be the leading company in the top tier small mouse category.

      - first thing you notice is how *light* it is, like using the g305 with no battery and no cover
      - *very solid* mouse and feels well put together, no audible parts shaking inside
      - love the shape- sides have a *better grip* and ergonomic feel, and not round sides like the g pro wired/g305/g203
      - slightly taller allowing my fingers to rest on the buttons more
      - the *white teflon feet are perfect slide* , no more tic tac sized feet of the g203/305
      - higher LOD/lift off distance. probably twice the 305. actually prefer this as its easier to move around
      - love the *light, drag free cable* . its a cross between the thickness of the g pro wired but lighter that the g203. almost feels wireless
this is just a few hours of playing, i have a feeling it might be a keeper. if i were u i'd order one on amazon now just to try it out, as it seems they are selling out quick. also amazon's return policy is ez af. feel like i should have paid the price of a g pro wired or g305. $39 it already seems like a steal.

Hey Rocket Jump Ninja, just a question regarding hand/mouse size. I've always used a deathadder, love the feeling of the mouse shape and finger indents but the rubber grips are absolutely awful. I was looking at the Viper ultimate but it has the same grips which wear over time becoming the opposite of a grip. I was wondering... I have a hand size of 20 and 10 and I remember watching a video where you said that smaller mouse help you aim better. Given the viper mini is recommended for a hand under 19, do you think I should grab one? Reason being, I wanted to try a smaller mouse and this mouse doesnt have rubber grips, which is what I'm after.

Hi RJN. Using the Viper mini right now. Packaging box has both English and Chinese language. Apparently it is CHS packaging.
This is my second RVM and it has the same issue as the first one. Scroll wheel jumps in opposite direction. While scrolling up, the wheel jumps down every few scrolls. Pretty frustrated at this.
Thought I share my experience. Razer did provide good switches and sensor, but provided shitty Kailh encoders.
For numbers sake, been using this only for 26 days. The encoder used isn't even in Kailh's website. Probably some custom ordered cheapo. For the time being, experience has not been good. Just thought I let you know. Didn't even play online games on it, just online fps, that's it and some facebook. Since the same problem happened twice, can't be bad luck, can it?
I've used my alternative Havit MS-300 for years like this and it has no scroll problems.... why do popular mice get manufactured with shit components.....?

I started with a Deathadder, the first gamer mouse I bought, man it was uncomfortable in a way that I did not recognize at that time, and I hated it but could not afford another mouse and stayed with it for some years. Then I went for the MX Master 2, great mouse, the fit was PERFECT and I didn't mind the weight, but the accuracy was too bad for gaming. I decided to go for the G502 wireless. At first, it was good. However, some months passed and I found it uncomfortable, I didn't know why, and 2 years passed. Today I understand that I have a claw grip, no palm, 19cm/9.5cm, and the Deathadder was too big for that grip, and the G502 was too heavy. I bought the Viper Mini today and I feel comfortable. I hope this lasts a few weeks or months so that I can say that I found a good fit. Edit: I have more knowledge thanks to you, and your reviews seem trustworthy. Great content!

The viper mini is notorious for the scroll wheel issue. i'm on my third viper mini. Each time I go for warranty Razer swapped mine for a brand new viper mini.

    • @Lightitupp1
      @Lightitupp1 8 месяцев назад

Funny enough I've had this mouse for nearly 2 years now and I did get the scroll up/down with it lagging and going into reversed direction. That however has stopped after a few weeks and haven't had it since, this was over a year ago now.

    • @minhbu95
      @minhbu95 8 месяцев назад

@@Lightitupp1 Yeah I eventually gave up and got a glorious model 0- wireless, works wonderful but the software sucks on laptop (it doesn't scale right so you basically lose the ability to change any settings cause' you can't hit the "Save" button LOL), it works great. I am now using the Steelseries Prime wireless (small one), works really good too.
The third viper mini: I was under the pressure of thinking I will eventually break the scroll wheel like it happened with the previous 2, so I scrolled like crazy (nothing remotely to physically harm the mouse, I just scrolled up and down really quickly with my index finger), and it started to break almost immediately.
The thing with Razer is that their devices are a hit or miss, they perform really good and the buttons are nice at first, but their durability is just bad.

Trying to test out a different mouse. Been using the Logitech G Pro (wired) since it released late of 2016. I use a claw/fingertip grip and my hand size is at a weird length of 18cm x 11cm. It's either between the Viper Mini and the Rival 3.
Hope everyone is doing well and safe! Thanks Zy for all the incoming reviews. Take care my prickly pear friend :)

I'm on a very tight budget rn. My hands are 15.24 x 8.89 cm, very very small hands. I did research, found I think it's the G403-G405, thought about buying it, but then someone recommended me the razer viper mini. I did my fair share of research on it, found its issues and saw that razer issued a fix for some of the software based issued, and people have been giving it consistently 4.8-5 stars. After seeing this review video, I'm very confident with my decision to buy this mouse.
I bought it on sale with free shipping and it's $29.54, very very affordable price for a very high rated mouse. I've been using the Deathadder Chroma v1, and I've got to say over time I've come to hate the mouse. It's so big compared to my hands, and it forces me into a very very uncomfortable palm grip. It's heavy and just overall bulky and it gets dirty really easily in places where I can't clean it. I've had it for about 5 years and the only issue I'm having durability wise is the left click is now double clicking. Out of 10, for me, I rate deathadder a 4.5/10. Too big and a very big concern for me about carpel tunnel. It hurts to use it since it's uncomfortable and I'm in general very weak so lugging a huge heavy mouse around gets super painful super fast.
I didn't want to buy a wireless mouse as I actually prefer wired mice, so this seems like a solid choice. All of the click sounds are very nice, the way it seems to interact with mouse pads seems very smooth, and I'm excited to get this on tuesday January 11th of 2022. I have high expectations for this mouse and I don't think I'll be disappointed.
Thank you for the review video.

as someone who has been using the G305 since it came out, i can tell you that the viper mini is just so much better. (especially shape. i hated the g305's curved out shape and big bulge at the back. i always remove the back cover and use it)
As for the LOD, just use a clear tape and cover the area below that circular dot u see (that empty rectangle space). AND/OR use the razer synapse and set your mat to the Sphex V2 + set LOD to 1. the difference is noticeable.
im still getting used to the fact that i have to get used to the wire again. and damn 61g even tho it ain't honeycomb is such a good thing. you wouldn't needa be worrying bout cleaning the insides of a honeycomb (dust, mainly where i live)
and virtually no double click is so much better (main reason i changed from the g305 was cuz of the double click issue that sprung from age)

PROBLEM: My ring finger can't get on the side of the mouse. I use relaxed claw grip. It falls on the corner or on the right mouse button. If i force it, index finger will be stretched. I can't do that, that's uncomfortable. Can't curl my ring and little finger, that grip is uncomfortable for me.
On your site, the Viper Mini is among the thinnest at 5.45cm (MZ1 5.25cm), but that's the grip width. The rest of the side of the mouse is probably _relatively_ much wider than the grip width.
