- This is my second Arcade1Up cabinet. It was a much faster build now that I am familiar with the process. This cabinet is awesome with the light-up marquee and LED control deck!

I got this exact same model, but I don't have an led control deck?
I believe that the 40th anniversary edition is the only one with the led control deck. There is another version without it.
@@rekcinol So I do have the 40th anniversary edition, w/stool, riser, light up marquee & everything. But no led control deck. :/ Is it built into the deck? How do you turn it on? Maybe i missed a step or threw out & extra part?
OMG. I just noticed a little button that actually turns it on!! Thanks for mentioning that it had an LED control deck!
What a fantastic video. I have this cabinet and the Ms. Pacman cabinet. I was impressed with the quality....my girlfriend and I have friendly competitions on both cabinets. Talk about re-living once childhood. Thank you for sharing with us.

I've got this exact same cabinet and I absolutely love it. Don't worry, I've used a drill on both my arcade1up cabinets with no issue. Looks good man. 👍

So my mother-in-law bought a similar Pac-Man Arcade1Up cabinet for her mom for Christmas and had me set it up for her. I got everything installed perfectly, but I had a concern about the riser. In the instructions it says that there are no pre-drilled holes on the arcade side panels and that I’d have to use the self-tapping screws to secure the riser to it. My question is if there are no pre-drilled holes, wouldn’t the screws damage the side panels? I’m just afraid of messing it up 😆
They will self tap into the cabinet and make holes. All three of mine are that way. It will be fine unless you ever plan on not using the riser because it will leave holes in the main cabinet. Just go nice and slow and don't over tighten.

I have the basic version of the 40th I thought about selling it since I also have the Legacy version but the 40th is just special

did you model of the 40th pac-man have the volume issues (super loud) on even 1 out of 15 on the slider? just wondering and if not what was the model number on the sticker at the top cheers.
Mine doesn’t have that issue. The model number is 8053.
Does the package that comes with the stool also come with the light up deck?
I believe so, mine had both.
Wish that riser was about six inches taller. I’ll need to build a riser for the riser.
I Agree, it would b nice if they made it adjustable, even if by a small amount.
What monitor did they use in this thing....the new BOE??
I’m assuming it does but I’d have to take the back off to be able to read the model number.

I can confirm that mine does have the BOE panel after removing the back of the cabinet and checking.

@@rekcinol Yea, I already looked at arcade1up but they point me towards Walmart and Gamestop, but I don't know if those are the best sites to buy an arcade.

Is the arcade light?
Do you mean how heavy is it? It not too bad and I can move it pretty easy. The specs say it weighs 81.5 pounds.

I have the turtles and star wars arcade, but I have to be honest these things are way over priced for the cheap material used.
Agreed! I suspect the cost to license the games from the publishers is a big part of it.

That's subjective, Galaga is one of my favorite retro games but I completely understand. If you don't like any of these games this isn't the cabinet for you.
