I recently bought this, and i'm HUGELY impressed with it....retro gaming has been arguably my main hobby these past 5 years (playing the old Sega nd Nintendo system games i USED to play as a kid....born in 1976 lol) and this is a very welcome addition to my hobby.....brings me back to childhood, having played these games in legit arcade cabinets as a child back in the 80s (those were MAGICAL times...kids today will NEVER know the wonder that was your local arcade).
I was having fun with you I’m headed to Amazon I’m purchasing NOW. Playing this game will be my fun chill time me unwinding having fun. It was this or a hammock. 😂
It's called Pac *&* Pal; not Pac Pal. :) I think it's kind of similar to Super Pac-Man (I remember it well), judging by the game visual, but truthfully I have no idea what the game is. Just one of the many spin-offs to the Pac-Man theme. Great review. Thanks for showcasing this particular model and all of the games on it. I've had my eye on this model for a while, since every game on it is one which I actually like and want...with the exception of Pac & Pal (which honestly looks decent and one I'd want on the machine). Many of these Arcade1Up machines are loaded with mostly garbage games or B-grade games that you have never heard of and don't want. Unfortunately, out of these four Pac-Man themed games on this machine, the original Pac-Man isn't one of them, however, Pac-Man Plus comes pretty darn close. Again, thanks! The video was truly helpful!
the games work better if you turn on fast mode in the settings (the arcade version is actually fast mode). as soon as i did that, felt like playing it in the arcade (i'm good at the arcade version of ms pacman, but suck on the home versions, because those tend to be the slow version. did it for regular pacman, had never gotten over 35000 on regular mode, got 250k within an hour). as for pacman plus, tends to be very random with the power pellet not turning all ghosts blue (and most times, the one that doesn't is the one next to you), so best bet if going for score is to grab the fruit and just hope you find the ghosts (if you get far enough and remember pacman, the 3000 point item in this version is a biscuit, the 5000 point is pancakes).
@@ComicBookCorner2.0 When you are at the screen that shows the 8 games highlight the one you want to play and hit the player 2 button and it should bring up the option screen.
Where can i get this??? I may have been too young in the 80s and Never seen Super pac man in the arcades. My memory was regular pacman and the super fast Ms. Pacman
I remember Super Pac-Man from my childhood. There was a Pac-Man machine in our local AMES (defunct) department store which I used to get quarters from my mother to play while she was shopping. One day I showed up and Pac-Man was gone and Super Pac-Man was in it's place. One thing I remember the most about Super Pac-Man was the sound system on the cabinet was stereo and sounded incredible. It was also cool to see fruits and vegetables instead of dots.
@@Kapisusanimator2024 "WHAT THAT'S EXPENSIVE" - ya, but it's an awesome looking piece of furniture, that plays like the OG arcade! I've got these games (multiple times) on different Namco home console compilations (Xbox, Gamecube etc) or just on MAME, but using a Dpad or analogue thumbstick to control these games just isn't the same. Plus it's only like $27 per game). "also ms pac man on the phone" - ???? With the WORST controls ever! It's virtually unplayable, man! Don't get me wrong, there's some GOOD phone games out there (i really enjoy turn based rogue-likes, and strategy games, on phones), but games that require 'precise yet nuanced' controls like Pac-man are TERRIBLE on phones.

I agree there is some places you can play. But back in our day they were everywhere! I used to go with my dad every week to the mall to play.
Love ms pac-man , remember it in the arcades years ago . Crazy to think it's nearly 40 years old now (oh my , l am SO old!)
LOL Peter I am getting up there also.
👍😎80’s lives 😎👍👍i just ordered one👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
8 arcade cabinets in one! Nothing controls these games better than an arcade joystick, not a video game controller.
Damn, that took me back to my arcade days

Hopefully this helps this is what it says on the power cord.
Model No B136-120300-U2
Input: AC100-240V-50/60Hz1.2A
Output: DC 12V
Much better line up of games then the current 40th Anniversary edition since they've since split many of the games to make more partycades.
This machine is awesome always playing it with my son. We love Super Pacman

Those are some great tips thank you so much for that!!!
Great review

I bought the countercade that was released a few months before this and making my countercade obsolete now lol
Hey somehow they got to keep making new ones so they can keep making money lol.
