Dude, without your videos I would've thrown so many of my figures out the window, thisone especially lol Best channel on RUclips in my opinion, constantly insightful, helpful and damned awesome!
I know that there are arguments to be made against KOs but goddamn I really do think the results speak for themselves. These "KO" companies keep consistently improving upon the original toys and making *better* all around versions! I wish the law could come to some sort of agreement to make sure the original companies weren't hurt sales-wise while also allowing these amazing redesigns to be able to come to market legally. Like maybe making it so that the physical toy designs themselves were only under (copyright? I guess would be the right word here) for like say 5 years and then made public domain. That way we could eventually get amazing toys such as this while also not letting the original company get hurt since all the sales would have already occurred by then. A perfect world where everyone wins.
The problem with that is that it *does* impact sales for the original company. I mean--take me for example. I'm buying the Weijiang version of Blackout and I'm never gonna touch the toy it was based off--solely because I don't really like it that much. And I don't think any company would want to give up copyright of their products, even if they've already moved on and created new designs with it. It just doesn't really seem like a realistic alternative. I think a better way to do it is it possible to sort of loan the design out to other companies that make these 3rd party figures. They would have to pay dividends or royalties or whatever to the original holder of the copyright--say 30% royalties of every purchase made, but they'd be free from any litigation for copyright infringement as long as they make enough alterations to the design so that they're not just making a direct copy of it.
I have just ordered it today I was amazed by the look of Blackout, both in robot and helicopter mode, but after watching how complicated the transformation is, I was like "What did I just buy?"
Should I get the A version or B? Is the "A" version basically what we see at 12:00? I don't care about the little scene, but getting rid a giant gaping hole is worth the extra $10.
If the helicopter mode is important to you, then I recommend getting set B. I have it and it's awesome. Helicopter mode looks like a massive scale model of the MH-53 than a Transformer toy. The cover at the bottom do make a difference, plus the parts tab in better with the additional cover plate for the bottom so it's all nice and tight.
@@zhaoyangxie its gigantic and i have no easy storing areas from grubby little child hands lol but honestly it's incredibly worth it, i honestly recommend it if you don't have a problem with setting it in strange areas when he's in his vehicle form
Great videos bro, you have an excellent channel. Thanks to your channel I was able to buy some figures that the originals left much to be desired. I also have a channel on youtube where I will soon upload videos of the figures, I would like to mention you in a video thanking you, because your videos have helped me when buying. Greetings and excitements, Sorry for me inglish, is so bad.
Hmm... nope. I can't like this one, sorry. I don't care how good it looks; a Transformer where part of the vehicle breaks off to form scenery that's not even part of the robot is not okay with me.
