Finally!! Someone who doesn't bend down his fueling rod. I absolutely do not understand why every collector bends it down when clearly his fueling rod sticks out like in this video and even in the movie. Great video I was looking forward to this!

@@Nothing40236 that rod he has sticking out of his chest. Some military helicopters use it for emergency refueling situations when a jet or a plane need fuel but don't have time to land to get it.

Blackout was one of my favorite Transformers characters thanks to the Transformers: The Game video game and the opening scene of the 2007 movie, so it's nice to have a really good figure of him in my collection. I got the Set A version which only comes with Blackout and Scorponok, but I still like the little scene you can recreate with Set B. I think the only differences between Set A and Set B is that B comes with the extra panels and a better painted Scorponok.
I think if companies weren’t so concerned about money we might actually get figures that look like their upgraded counterparts from other outlets with the same quality.

@@darwinchee8722 Paint or ask for parts. There's no way. Once it starts to discolour, it keeps getting more yellow. 😭😭😭
Got some questions:
#1: Think someone could make an upgrade kick where they make the pieces that detach from helicopter mode could instead turn into his weapons, like the missile launcher and the storm cannon?
#2: What happened to the Weijang Facebook page?

WeiJiang is now known as Model-Wizard after legal trouble from Hasbro going after some 3P/KO companies so they most likely took down everything that associates them to the Wei-Jiang name.

I ordered the studio series one for someone for Christmas, if I had known about this one i would have definitely ordered it, because they love blackout

@@kalblackmon5763 lmfao yeah he is ok, thats what they actually named it. he has Bkacsdut on the tail fin. which is pretty funny but makes sense cuz copy right reasons. its still a sick as toy even if just so to display it. plus you could always flip a finger to it all and paint over the small names and numbers on it your self and make it 100% movie 1 perfect.

If you display it with studio series
I use this as Blackout for my Studio Series collection instead of the official one. I like Blackout being massive just like Grindor and IMO the oversized Scorponok that comes with the figure scales better too. Also as someone who has owned both figures (that is until I decided to sell the SS one) the SS one just feels fragile in comparison and even gets stress marks easily.
Blackout is actually the first ever transformer who transformed in the Bayformers universe, and it was epic af!!!
I'm SO happy they fixed the wrists and hands. This figure looks so awesome
Hasbro should take notes from this when they do grindor.
He's such an amazing figure, he is probably one of the best designs for a Michael Bay Transformer ever, if I ever am able to get a figure like this I'll get him

After the Movie Masterpiece releases, this version of Blackout can honestly be repainted for a Grinder Custom. Perfect size too

Holy moly!!! Weijang Blackout is way more bigger than Blackout from Studio Series.Also i really like there is a diorama of sand battle from Transformer Movie with Scorponok on it and for the articulation are very tight and solid.

Why didnt you transform him?
Sandwich Boi03 the transformation is the same with only a few extra transformation steps. Namely the detachable helicopter belly, the shoulders, and the feet.

This figure looks really great! The only problem I have with it is that they made Scorponok a bit oversized. In figure he is giant than the humans and the car, but in the movie he seems to be the same size as the car

I think the studio series of blackout it is bigger than shockwave studio series
Weijang version it's mostly like grindor due to the size comparation with tge original studio series version.

*What's the difference between Set A and Set B?*
Set A has the diorama and the scorponok painted to match blackout’s color scheme. Set B has no diorama and a scorponok painted similarly to the one that comes with the official one.

I know it's a very minor but this makes me furious! They couldn't give blackout my favorite description a gun. He has the propeller blade gun thing but it ain't really good and for 100 bucks I better be getting the machine guns and the chest blaster. Yet they blow all of that for playground for scorponok. Instead of the playground they could have just left it as a filler PEICE and guy in us the other wepans yet no they doing give him any good weapons. I know you are gonna dislike my comment but it's just my opinion. I am a accessories fanatic and for 100 bucks we better get good weapons.

Yes and No. It's MP size. Over 12 inches tall, around the size of Siege Jet Fire so possible in Robot mode but in altmode I highly doubt it.

Mr Surfacer 1200 do not leave it exposed to bright light. Notice how on older cars the headlights fog up yellow? Kinda similar for this figure.
