David Crow Sr. or Jr., I worked with the son at Advanced Plastic Fabricators in Round Rock back in the early 90's. I used to go to the Bug Shows in Ennis twice a year and met the Sr. there, he built transmissions for TVWDA racers.....Red Oak is right south out of Dallas....

Jason has the coolest toolboxes and lift! I can't hang my lift on the wall. Mine is holding our house together LOL. You're a master at keeping things tidy and stowed away! You Da Man! “a rising tide lifts all boats” ~JFK Which is a wonderful quote and we live by it!

Having your dad's tool box is cool. Snap On should have a kit to swap out the guts in the ratchet handle and get that little stubby going again.

I have that same Matco top and bottom box that I bought around 1983 when I started Collision Repair. Lol.
You should be able to buy the gear repair kit for the SnapOn ratchet also. Doesn’t take much to change it out.

Not to sh!t on the Quick Jacks too much but keep the line connectors CLEAN! If they get any dirt in them you could get one of actuators clogged. Then when you let the car down one side goes down super fast while the other side takes its time. Almost had my beetle slide off onto my other car.
THIS is a good knowledge to have. That's what I truly love about VW LIFE, this community sharing info with each other!
