All these people talking about where he's from, it's like not you can choose which country, culture and society you are born into. He is proud to be British and thats all that matters. Just because your ancestors were born here it does'nt make you more british than khan.

I dont know how you could say his over-rated, if anything his under-rated, yet to prove to the boxing world how good he really is, every fight he shuts more people up, yet you still find the armchair critics who think they know it all. I rate skill and he has it.

@akrastic2 well i read his bio and it said some of his family members are from the state of punjab.. also he speaks punjabi, english and urdu... so he does have some punjabi in it... its damn nice to see a punjabi/muslim taking over boxing..

@YyJoBb it depends how much you weight mate but being tall for weight division is an advantage for any martial arts , ofc you need to choose your style carefully , tall skinny brawler wont match really well but tall skinny out-boxer or boxer-puncher ll make a good boxer just like amir

Khan needs to prove himself to the boxing world. That last fight, although a step in the way, wasn't too convincing.

@123johnrooney very true i think personally the British boxers who have actually accomplished something of greatness are Lennox Lewis, Prince Naseem but Eubank and Hatton i would say good Level B fighters but not elite fighters which i think Khan can be very so, i think when Khan would always be unable to shut up the haters most of which are British who are making up accuses about why there own fighter dident win and its quite sad as the American public loved him and it only brings up one

if khan boxes 12 rounds he wins if he fights it's over maidana in 9 or 10 rounds if he cutts off the ring

Agreed. Khan has the fastest hands, but he also has the weakest chin. If placed against fighters who are as fast as him but don't have that much punching power, Khan will come out on top, because of his height and reach. But if placed against any fighter with power, Khan will have a hard time. If placed against any fighter with power AND speed, Khan will most likely get knocked out.
