  • This video was shot Thursday, Nov, 8, 2012. The national media reported that the Atlantic City Boardwalk was devastated during Hurricane Sandy. That is true for the inlet section that was slated for demolition, but not so for the main commercial section in front of the casinos. In this video we show the entire commercial section, approximately three miles, of the Boardwalk at double speed. Press of Atlantic City video by Michael Ein

Thanks Michael! Over three miles of AC boardwalk not only intact and beautiful, but the grasses on the sand dunes are still in place! Proof once again that the maintenance and upkeep on the dunes and the grasses more than pay for themselves. ** I've seen more damage to AC after the antique convention. The trashcans, benches, and paperboxes are just fine. It's a great time to get a hotel room! When I train in AC I love the ability to run on the beach and the boardwalk in the same session!

On that day, the boardwalk was blocked just past Revel due to construction.

Every time I go to AC and walk on the Boardwalk there is usually LOTS of people on it so its kinda weird seeing almost no one on it.

Why wasn't the inlet section shown? Also, the video appears to start about Albany ave, what about Jackson Ave. to Albany?
