It is difficult to go 1000 kilometres in a single day without stopping. However, driving Astor is quite comfy; it does not feel worn out. Additionally, the performance and mileage are excellent.

For the same route I got 17.5 kmpl I drove it around 80 kmph adaptive cruise control
15 ka mileage bahut acha hai ek turbo charged engine ke liye. And i agree ki comfort ke maamle me Astor bahut hi achi hai, back seats aur improve ho sakte hai i hope ek age facelift me thik akrde MG. Baki overall gaadi bahut hi achi hai.

Astor is a brilliant car. Excellent comfort and solid build quality.
It should sell a lot more. Unfortunately Indian consumers don't know how to appreciate quality.
The maintenance cost of Astor is also extremely low plus excellent customer support provided by MG dealers.

No 1.5 turbo ,no ventilated seat and mileage is only 8 in city its worst

@@GokuDUchiha Evidently you have not driven the Astor 220 turbo. Its a very potent engine providing more than enough grunt. It literally gobbles away the miles on the highway.
As for the mileage, while it could have been slightly better especially in the N.A. variant, but then the Astor is on the heavier side. Its definitely no maruti as far as the weight is concerned.
Even the Tata Nexon petrol doesn't return any respectable fuel economy in city traffic and that is a full segment lower than the Astor.
Just match the rpm per car manual you get good figures. I am getting

15.6 per litre with turbo petrol .. means it giving 17 per litre on na engine..
Company claims 15 .5 liters on NA engine...your driving is fantasticfor that reason ..If it gives 14 13 range i will be satisfactory ..

I purchased MG astor select variant recently. I drived 650 km long drive it gives 12.5 km avg. Might be increase after first two service. Apart from the millage comfort drive quality everything price of vachile super

To improve the mileage of this car, i have used this technique of leaving the accelerator after a certain speed. As the down shift of the car is too late, we can use it as an advantage to get a better mileage.... I got a mileage of 12 in the city conditions(turbo variant)

The only negative of astor is the curtain of sunroof and the passenger 2nd row seats

💥Perfect & pure MILEAGE review i think. I have ASTOR 1.5 CVT and I'm getting
✏16+ easily in highway
✏ 14 in mix condition
✏~10kmpl in city
And all pure petrol car in the segement gives more or less same milege , My friend has seltos petrol and he's getting the same figures
So, it's better to buy these car than grand vitara i think as it won't give more than 20kmpl in highway and astor is almost 4lak cheaper than maruti so with that money you can enjoy less mileage figures😄
If you have more city drive go for maruti( but we all know driving SUV in city is hell)

Kushal, I also own astor Sharp 1.5 NA cvt.. clocked ~5300 km.. mostly city ride in Navi Mumbai with two long trips outside mumbai.. I get 7.5-8.5 in city both in IMD & tank ti tank.. on long drives I got 10.5 & 8.5 respectively highway & city mixed .. so i am intersted to know are you getying this mokeage ftom the beginning & lof has ig improved with running kms?
Milage is a feature we use everyday... AI and all feature is momentarily useful and given to backup low milage engines. Not at all recommended to buy.

Panaromic sunroof ke niche..thin paper thin type closure door Hain. How safe it is ..if sunroof glass breaks or if sunroof glass doesn't close due to electric issues?

Depends on what you are looking in a car. I personally wanted a comfort and feel good factor in car as my drive is less (7k per year). After test driving both Creta and Astor, i finalised Astor. The Creta interior quality is not up to mark and less safety as well

Bhai i think ppl drive mostly in city so making a video for 1000 km ride milage is not usefull. I guess city me 9 10 dedegi. Which is on lower side for daily driver home to office 30k. I like the vehicle but city milage is cause of concern. So waiting for other options
If 90% running is in city then the EV is an amazing option

15.65 without ac and 60 km/hr avg speed is very poor. Full ac and 80 kmph speed will reduce it to 13.5

Turbo engine mileage is good, but the naturally aspirated one is absolutely pathetic. 7kmpl in traffic,9kmpl in city & 12kmpl on highways. Except mileage everything is good 👍🏻
Most weakest point in this car is...
1. no diesel engine..and
2. city milage is 8-10 , also highway milage 15-16 is also less.
