I lost my son at 32 to asthma in 2008. I'm crying my eyes out listening to this. I don't think I will ever get over this loss. I also lost a brother and my mother that year. Thank you for scraping my soul again, nothing else has for several years now.

Wow just discovered you on America's Got Talent singing, "I See Red" and I must say you have an amazing voice, you even sound better than the original singer. So I looked you up and discovered now this song and oh my gosh you are phenomenal, you definitely need to sing this song during your next performance on AGT and dedicate the song to all the victims of the mass shootings especially the elementary school, you make this song also better than the original singers, this is beautifully sang. Wow you're an amazing singer you need to get an immediate record deal, that's how phenomenal you are, never give up your dream! I think singing this on AGT would be a good thing. I am drawn to the raspiness in her voice in the song she sang on AGT already, but this song would definitely show a whole different side of her. Great idea of dedicating it to victims of the Nass shootings.

My dad passed away on January 28th. Today is April 21, and it's hard to believe it's only been 3 months since he was laughing and healthy. He's in Heaven now with my mama who died of pancreatic cancer in 2017. I picture them smiling & hugging each other, with each of their families waiting with open arms to embrace them in a precious reunion! This is the promise of Heaven for me and all Christians! This truly blessed me today, and I want to say God Bless You for bringing such joy into our lives. 🥰

I never came across a song that describes how I feel about losing my dad. The way he died was very traumatic. To hear this song for the first time of you singing it so angelically was a blessing. Only a year ago did I know how amazing of a voice she had and she gave it to me. Hope to make covers soon on my YT 🥹. She is now singing with the choirs of angels in heaven. At her funeral her sister who’s 14 years older I think said that when I was playing flute that she could see glowing outlines in the seats behind me of 5 or more “people” (angels). She was absolutely there and she said that she was sure she was there by me when I wasp laying flute

The sadness comes and goes..there are always reminders of good times, and I can fully grasp when grandma would be sad and say "I just wish I could pick up the phone and talk to my mom" because I wish...I could pick up the phone and talk to my grandma. ...especially after this song. It hit me right in the feelers.

My grandma passed away recently and she was my last grandparent to go. I’ve found it really difficult adjusting and accepting that it’s all over and the end of an era as I was so close to them and spent a lot of my time caring for them in their final bits of life. I ended up doing my grandmas end of life care for her recently and often listened to music while I was driving home the week she left us. Thank goodness I didn’t hear this sooner because I’d have been more of a mess than I am now. This song really got me bawling my eyes out, thinking about everything. Such a beautiful version of the song and really felt the emotion in the words. Hope you’re well, thanks for this cover, really got me at an emotional time.
