These Standards stand the test of Time, especially when played by a Skilled Practitioner
Thanks Craig !!
Wonderful version of a deceptively "easy" song
Thanks !!
Love the woody, barrel like resonance of the Stromberg -- another delightful performance as well.
Thanks ! Exactly, a lot of reverb

thanks Mikhail !!
I sent you email regarding this tune yesterday.
For me is not very clear some of chords on the video.
Do you have a video-lesson for this tune by chance, or tabs,or chord charts?
This melody grabbed my mind and I really want to learn how to play it.
I would purchas from you a video-lesson.
Sincerely,
Mikhail
Hello Mikhail ! I don't write the music so i don't have charts or tabs, but the guy from Soundslice is a friend of mine, so i could try to figure out how to release a couple of pedagogical videos of my stuff, and they will have tabs etc. Stay tuned

@@AcousticStandards I did! Now you made me fall in love with that old sound but I don't have 10k for a guitar. Can one get a decent jazz sound out of a boozey and hawkes zenith 17?
@@AcousticStandards or are some of those old archtops not for jazz?
@@abrahamlife good question ! maybe aim for levin guitars in sweden? sometime you can find cheap models in the 40s or 50s
@@abrahamlife they were designed for jazz purpose, mainly during the swing era and were played a lot for rythm although they are great solo instruments, listen to Eddie Lang or Allan Reuss
Wow! J'adore le son. Bravo!
I so love your version! Can you please share the tab for moonglow?
Thanks a lot ! I unfortunately don t have the tab
I was gonna ask the same. Lol. Maybe you could do a tutorial video?
@@monoyamono maybe someday
Sounds great! How does 16" Stromberg compare to 16" Gibson L5 ?
To me L5 is more banjo-like sounding while stromberg has a typical archtop sound. Nice guitars and excellent play!
Thanks ! It's true that the 16 L5 is the best match when you want to play fully acoustic gig, in a really loud context ! I play acoustic gigs with it with the umlaut big band unplugged and it works !! Freddie Green Style, raising the action a lot ! Hard for the fingers, but great for the sound !!
They have the same size, but the shape is a little different. The L5 is parallele braced, the stromberg have 2 parallele brace, and 3 perpendicular. You can compare the sound of the two guitars on my chanel. To me the L5 is thicker in the mids, and the Stromberg has more air in the sound, a bit like an epiphone deluxe for instance. Both great guitars !!
Beautiful version! Great singing too!
Quel son.....Nature!!!!!
Merci Daniel !!
Nice!!
Thanks Filippo !! Some more vids on my chanel if you want to have a look !
