Being on keto/carnivore (high fat) diet has giving me a clearer mind, I feel more grounded. My digestion is better, wounds heal faster, and skin feels younger. Inflammation is down, actually no inflammation! I dropped 15 pounds of fat, not muscle. I am 61 and have been struggling in my garden with arthritis.
No more arthritis now! My back used to itch so much in between my shoulder blades, that is gone! My libido is in great shape now👏🏻👏🏻
My sleep has improved greatly, and my energy has improved. All of this in only 4 1/2 months.
    PTL🙌🏻

It is not healthy long term. Dr. William Davis talks about the harm carnivore diets do to the gut biohme in his book "Super Gut".

Great video. Thank you. When Josh Thomas interviewed Sally Fallon at this years summit, the question was asked about the Instant pot for broth. She said the same that it hadn't been tested, but that temperature was key...I think not to go above 250 or 220. So low and slow is what is important. She doesn't know what temperature the instant pot gets up to, but feels it's probably to high. I use my nesco roaster oven...holds more and I can control the temperature. This doesn't help your time crunch though. It would be an interesting study ❤😊

Ten pounds of pressure is 248 degrees and the Instant falls (which is why you can't can in it) so it doesn't even keep it at 248 the entire time. What we don't know with the Instant Pot is the histamine part but it's absolutely fine for broth making. It provides a better gel which means the collagen/gelatin hasn't been compromised.

Same. I adjusted my cooking a lot too so I never experience the “restricted” feeling many people get. Carnivore has been the only thing for me. Still working towards being able to take any sort of fermented anything.

Care to share which issues it has helped you with? You don't have to be too specific, if it makes you uncomfortable; even 'better digestion, less gassiness, improved/eliminated migraine, etc' would be informative.

@@juliemcgugan1244it’s honestly those and way more. I had a doctor say that the medical system failed me, shrug his shoulders, and show me the door. I couldn’t walk, couldn’t eat, I had no memory retention, etc. I also react to everything that’s not animal products pretty seriously. Similar to PPD and Hoshimotos symptoms with a dash of endometriosis.
Had blood tests done a month or so ago and I’m extremely healthy after a 6+ months carnivore. I was keto 7 years before that.

I've read that slow cooking increases histamine and instantpot under natural release is lower in histamine.... I typically instantpot whole meats 90 minutes minimum ... I also avoid plant proteins and prefer processing my own whole foods and going back to seasonal availability like I grew up with in the 60-70s.... I guess that's ancestral 🤔

Coffee is an acquired taste, like beer. I didn’t like coffee when I first drank it. I loved the way it smelled but I had to add sugar or fancy creamers.

A little side not about straight coffee with nothing in it, if you are diabetic, it will lower your blood sugar levels by about 30 points in a relatively quick timeframe.

Bone broth is full of adrenaline from bones
It’s like a strong stimulant for most people.
Seaweed /veggie broth is amazing !
And you don’t need to eat beans tofu and other legumes to be a healthy vegan or plant based person.

Listen to your body. When I was younger as in high school and after, it was my habit at a restaurant to drink the ice water and leave the ice cubes. I liked to sprinkle the cubes with salt and suck them. They tasted good. Then after a few times at that meal, all of a sudden it didn't taste good. I like to think that it was because I needed salt if it tasted good. Then it didn't taste good when I had enough. I may be all wet with this conclusion but I don't think sol
