Walking up to the counter and ordering with a person is MUSH faster and more accurate. A lot more sanitary also. When you use the kiosk, you're exchanging germs with the previous 50 people that used it. On my last trip to McDonald's there was a couple punching away at the kiosk. I walked past them, placed my order, and received my food and they were still tapping away.
There should be a team of people that go around and waste time at the mcdonald's kiosk until other customers get so frustrated that they walk out and they lose business. Maybe the viral video people could do that
Dec. 7, 2019----Interesting video, but two things about McD's. I basically REFUSE to eat at any of them because the food is crap. I don't mean taste wise, but I want a HOT double quarter pounder with cheese and HOT fries. Simply tired of getting luke warm food if not actually cool to the taste. The other is McD's keeping fries under that red lamp for an hour or two, so they're not even close to being hot. I go to Burger King on a regular basis, especially those open 24/7. Not only do I get a HOT meal, I can also order ANYTHING on the menu whether it's burgers or breakfast. Though I will admit I like McD's breakfast burrito's and hash browns. I also quit eating at Wendy's for the same reason until recently. Seems management/ownership has change and now I get HOT meals those few times I've been to it.
Thougt maybe I'd been hasty; so this morning before work I stopped in to Mcds for a cup; couldnt get an assiciate f'd with the kiosk for a few minutes beacuse it wouldnt confirm (my) order; I left! Went straight tob BKs; got what wantted; talked to the cute girl at the registar left with a smile on my face! George Jetson wouldnt mess with Mcs' flawed technology!
Well; just got back from Bk; talked to the cute cashier; got my order (abd asked if they were goning to do this dysfynctional perversion of Jetsons style service; was tild not that tgey know of. It looks like from niwvon, BK it is!
Finally I dont have to listen to the shitty negative put down words of the cashier while taking my order at the drive thru radio or at the window. Wait is this kiosk only good inside. Yes... oh no... then I wont be going to mcdonalds up until they make a kiosk at the drive thru outside the customer lane.
Yall going to go out of business if you only put these and no people. I know that my g-ma hates those machines and goes like 3 times a week it will go to 0 times a week. Just an FYI.

I got the chance to use it, and our conclusion was: We will not go back to McDonald again. Don't like the whole experience.
Horrible experience. Does not take cash. Takes longer waiting when other people are in front of u using it. Never eating mcdonalds again.
