    Holy moly this was such a great explanation. I had so many insights into my own thoughts and i had never put them together with those core beliefs before 🤯

    I've just stumbled on this video after 18 months of rinsing RUclips of self help/personal growth content, and honestly I wish I'd found this channel earlier on. You mentioned half way in about recognising and changing beliefs, which is something I've tried to do beforehand. Years ago I learnt to keep evidence of positive interactions or praise received at work for my annual appraisal, and only recently started to do that in my personal life so at the moment I don't think I've collected enough evidence to support a new notion that 'I matter, and am important'. I'm currently being tested for ADHD, plus I'm finding out that as a consequence of growing up with a narcissistic mother, CPTSD may be at the root of my anxiety and rejection sensitivity dysphoria. I'm pretty astute especially when it comes to dealing with bullshit, and where some people use the 'fake it till you make it' protocol for advancing in life, if I tried to rewrite a particular life narrative or core belief without substantial evidence then I would not be able to force that belief on myself. I try to trick myself as a way of living with ADHD but they don't work because I know full well what I'm doing. I think in time I will have enough evidence to swing my mindset, but for now do you recommend anything?

      Hi Robert, I'm sorry for your struggles growing up. When we are young our subconscious negative beliefs are reinforced by our parents. In your case, unfortunately, your narcissistic mother projected her issues on to you and this has caused many challenges in your life. Trying to think positive is very good but in many cases this isn't enough. The inner pain is too deep and still causes havoc. The best is to identify the negative core belief. You mentioned that you don't feel important or that you don't matter. This could probably be the core belief. When you feel "unimportant", maybe try to observe why you feel that? What triggered you to feel this way? Did exterior feedback make you feel this way? How do you know their feedback is true? Maybe try to feel your heart (meditation) and feel what it is saying to you. The heart is the communication centre of our Inner Self. The heart always speaks positively. If you hear negativity, then it's your head (with all the negative thoughts) talking.
      When you feel "unimportant", tell yourself that this negative belief isn't true! You were conditioned to think this way. The more you observe the belief, when triggered, the more you will understand it. In time, you can slowly reconditioned yourself. More videos are coming.

      Hello Fiorenza, thank you for your comment. It's a journey when finding your negative core belief. My advice is when you are triggered in a particular moment, ask yourself "how does this experience make ME FEEL?" Answer: It makes me FEEL LIKE I'M ????? It could be I feel powerless, weak, helpless, hopeless, etc. This would identify the negative belief. The more you put your awareness when triggered, the more you can retrieve answers. Don't forget that it's a process. Keep doing well!!! Kim

    I like the objective of this work 'an authentic empowered being'. am a regular meditator and there was one meditation that just helped me, the meditation starts with breathing, then on my left side I hold hands with my child-self, in the right I hold hands with my very senior self and there we are breathing, no words no thoughts. One day a few months ago something came in. it joined and it held hands -what happened is that it Closed the circle now it was my present self - my child self - senior self and this energy is my Eternal Self... it completely blew my mind - it closed the circle and I understood. This was my Divine Self part of Source, ... I always wondered how can the Divine even care about me when there is so much suffering - so many suffering. And I understood why it cared about me - the Eternal Self that is me is completely connected with the Divine and Yes - it cares.

      HI Audrey, you are ALWAYS LOVED! You are an extension of your Divine Self!!! It projects itself in a reality, to learn more about itself, in order to become its Authentic Self in 3D. True Self in Human Flesh. I know this is complex. Unfortunately, we get too wrapped up in our physical reality that we forget we are connected to a Greater Inner Self that can help us navigate our reality. Your experience is incredibly beautiful! The more you keep meditating and speaking with your heart, it will guide you towards authenticity. It takes time to trust our heart. Since you are a good meditator, you have an advantage on most, since most don't meditate. I have a suggestion, when meditating, create an imaginative space, like a relaxing room, or campfire, or sitting on the beach. Once you have your image, ask your Guide to walk in! Just feel, allow the energy to enter. As you feel a presence, ask in your mind; Guide are you here? Yes or no? May I ask you questions? Do you love me? You can ask as many questions as you want. Make sure your question are precise, that can be answered with a yes or no. It's possible to communicate with our Guide like a conversation but yes/no answers are a good beginning. Again, everything is practise but I feel you got talent in this area! If you hear negative answers, it's your head interfering! The Greater Identity never speaks negatively because it loves you!
      Keep doing your routine!!!! Kim

    Is it necessary to end certain relationships in order to succeed at changing core beliefs?

    • @KimCrosbie_01
      @KimCrosbie_01  2 года назад

      Hi Robert, no it's not necessary to end a relationship to change a negative core belief unless the people are toxic. Only you can transform your inner beliefs. The people with whom we have relationships can trigger us. This happens all the time because we perceive and believe the negative belief. If you didn't believe it, you wouldn't be triggered.
      What often happens is when people change their negative beliefs, the people around them either change or leave because they don't "vibrate" at the same level. I hope this you helpful. Keep doing well!! Kim

    How many core beluefs does a person has??

    • @kimcrosbie275
      @kimcrosbie275 4 года назад +3

      Hello! Thank you for your question. You have one negative core belief such as; I'm weak, I'm powerless, I'm alone, I'm helpless, etc. Many people may have the same negative core belief but their negative thinking surrounding that core belief will be specific to each individual because we are unique. The best way to find a negative core belief is when you are triggered. Ask yourself how does this moment make ME FEEL? It makes me feel like I'm...( like I'm weak, like I'm helpless, like I'm lonely, etc) When you had many triggers and the same sentence comes back, like a pattern, then you have found the core belief. I hope this answers your question.

    • @maryasha6826
      @maryasha6826 6 лет назад +1

      By focusing on how you feel at that moment. If you are feeling happy, grateful, satisfied then you are at the right path. If you are feeling sad, angry, depressed, frustrated etc then you are having a perception which is not helping you. So, basically just be MINDFUL, you will understand better.

      @@maryasha6826 if I'm writing and negative feelings arise then how do I interpret that?

    • @maryasha6826
      @maryasha6826 6 лет назад +1

      @@minisight2000 Just observe how you feel and the thoughts you get, no need to interpret anything. What helps me is that I question myself as to why I'm feeling this way, there is definitely some kind of judgement to what happened, or the beliefs that you are carrying which makes you feel a certain way. It's not easy, it takes practice to be mindful. Just don't be too harsh on yourself.
