I think you've solved my problem. I bought a retail return La specialista arte and the knob feels like it works but lights don't change so I will see if a new knob does the job. Thanks for making this video.

Hi, my machine is stuck in descale mode. Only the hot water button works, as in water runs through, but it's not hot. b9 (descale) b12 (eco mode) and b6 (hot water) are lit, but can't do anything. I have tried pushing the hot water button for 2 full refills, but nothing changes.
How do i determine if it's a stuck/broken dial or something else?

I replaced the knobs but now I have a solid descale button and even when I descale it stays solid and none of the settings are working. Do I need to do this again or is it another problem?

Hello sir. My la specialista arte is not working on function selection bottom, it's stuck in hot water mode, even I changed to other modes it still lights on hot water. So how could I do with that? Thank you so much for your advice.
