Kalekye you are right,,our grandparents and parents gave us wrong information about other tribes, and the sad thing, wakenya wengi wameendeleza hii ushenzi,,,I decided I will never talk ill of other tribes,,kama sijajionea,,,,and there is absolutely nothing, you can tell me about my tribe niskie vibaya,I love my tribe (typical Kikuyu) and I respect other tribes, what you think about them,it's upon you,,,if you got something against luos, luhyas, kales, kaos, sijui akina nani,it's none of my business,,I'm what I am today coz of luos,,99% of my customers are luos, may God bless them

The grandparents did not misinform you. Listen to them, learn from their generation, then judge for yourself
Some cultures are so different from your own, and you can choose to adopt to their culture or not. But still respect other tribes.

As much as you may call some things stereotype, there's always a. Element of truth. The more you interact with people from other cultures, the more you realize some of these notions are true. But we should learn to tolerate each other's differences and let those who want to break this barriers be. Afterall, experience is the best teacher!

One thing about Luos, they are always true and fully attached to their families. Luos love and cherish. Luos love the truth and honesty. Most of them are not greedy and they won't eat or take what's not theirs. In my village we have married women from Kamba, Kikuyu, Taita, Kisii, Luhya and their lives are progressing well. Let's stop these archaic and narrow stereotypes.

You can interact with other tribes politically, economically, socially with the exception of marriage. Marriage is a dangerous affair not to be taken lightly. Sticking with your tribe doesn't mean your are tribal. Dont engage in thing blindly its good to know you are dealing with.

No Luo can date a woman with such a conserved mentality. Luos date women who think broad, you talk of global diversity issues affecting Blacks globally, Latino, Asians & Whites not your stupid village tribal Chauvinism, WTF is that😏. The world is a bigger place, you have to think Big.

Some of these Kenyan tribes haven't really matured to reason out things on an international scale. The fools are still struggling with tribalism how the hell would they manage racism.
That's why I really admire Luos, Luhyas & Maasais. They are way beyond this tribal stereotypes, Most of them are begging to Face the bigger issue of Racism due to mass inter marriage.

They perpetuate negative stereotypes under the pretext of comic acts. There should be a balance, and I’m not talking about being politically correct.

@@yanick9131 well not all stereotypes are negative to begin with and even if they are if your comic delivery is on point that's what matters the laugh
