While I do agree tampons and pads should be free ... Condoms benefit both men and women . You can now even get free female condoms at the public STD clinic too . they were talking about the women in need who use homeless shelters, domestic abuse shelters, single moms (with teenage daughters), women and teens on welfare, high school students and college students with limited income. Every woman knows a woman who is secretly using wadded up toilet paper, using old socks (with toilet paper or "brown" paper), face cloths and ripped up towels because they are too embarrassed to ask or admit they can't take care of their feminine hygiene needs. It takes bus fare to get to Walmart and back, it takes change to use the vending machines if they are even available. I have always thought they should be deductible on our taxes or prescribed by a doctor so we can claim them on insurance. They should definitely not be taxed, as women do not really have a choice but to use them on a monthly basis, for about 40+ years.

The company donates the same quality organic pads or tampons to 1 girl in need with each and every purchase!!🤗 It is my little way to give back to those in need. Plus, it is much healthier than the other brands out there that are full of dyes, perfumes & pesticides that I used to put in my body unknowingly for years!🙁 I want to make ensure the girls in need have access to a healthier (and better for their bodies) option for their hygienic needs!😉💜

It should be low income areas that be gaining the free sanitary napkins because it is a lot of money and it's hard to free bleed. Every time I go shopping for my products, I think of all the women who cannot afford especially because there was a time I had to severly ration mine. When I go shopping, I look out for companies that say if you buy this, we will donate one to so and so for example in October in some of my local supermarkets if you buy certain yogurts, a % gets donated to Cancer treatments. There are also companies with feminine products that helps with care packages. In my head if I buy from them I get to help someone.

It’s safe to put it even with out your period like if you are expecting it and don’t want to bleed all over yourself or if you think you’re still bleeding but it turns out you’re done...they are an up front cost and then they are good for years and years and years!!!! They are good for the environment, more comfortable than plastic, paper, synthetic cotton fibers pads and don't have bleach or chemicals that leach into your labia or vagina. It reduces cost and landfill waste. Women don't have to worry about running out of supplies. Just like you have to hand wash and rinse your stained period panties you do that for cloth pads. Honestly, they should just be extremely inexpensive. It cost money to make these products and if we want higher quality it will be a higher cost to make. Free tampons and pads will automatically be made of lesser material. People do make them and need to be paid.

My university has this thing called the Mensi Project where in the lower level of every building there’s a little pouch hanging on the wall with tampons in them. Women can take as many as they need or put some in if they’re feeling generous. It’s right next to the tampon machine and it’s very convenient because every college student knows that sometimes you don’t even have a quarter on you.
