Thanks for being transparent. Most of the car channels get all their problems worked out before they show the times. What you’re doing helps people figure out their own combinations. Thanks for sharing your journey. Awesome 3rd gen Camaro
Thank you sir. I do my best not to hide anything….at least not on purpose. Building a car, especially with used and low budget parts is never a “nail it right away” type or ordeal for sure!
Hell yeah brother. Keep it up. That thing will be flying in no time.
I’m certain if we just get a decent converter in this thing it’s going 5s no problem. 🤘
You're just dialing C.C. in working out the bugs 💪
Hell I'm tryin brother
Explain blowing through the converter more please!
Basically the engines making more power than the converter can handle so it never fully couples. It’s essentially the same effect as the clutch constantly slipping on a manual transmission. That’s why it’s just riding the rev limiter then entire time and not putting all the power to the ground. If you watch the full video I posted a couple hours after this one I talk about it a bit more and you can see the last pass where I tried to turn it up more and it just immediately smacks the limiter and stays there.
