The inspiration they used from the shining is unbelievable. The main room is exactly like it was in the movie. I just watched the movie and so many things were familiar to me. Redrum, the main living room in the hotel and even the fucking music. Amazing.
The theme is called "Horror Hotel". I love this theme. It actually gets almost romantically sad at the very end. Although this one is my favorite of the many "horror" themes in the TimeSplitters game series, the "Mansion of Madness" theme is probably the scariest, though I'd place this one in a close second.
@roodeyx can picture hearing hollow resounding footsteps .... the lights shutting off one by one from the end of the hall as the footsteps get closer... hehe gave myself chills

Oh I remember this. I had to play without music or by switching the music in multiplayer because I just couldn't stand how creepy this song was. At this age it's not bad but to be playing with this playing in the background was terrifying. This isn't the same song from the zombie part of the campaign right? I remember that song being creepier than this.
Because it could represent 1: the power is fading because of some unseen force 2: A powerful being could be making the power deem 3: Someone cut the power and it wasn't you so i think that could be the reason why it's so scary

When I stare exactly at the center or the end of the hallway, the picture comes weird.... smaller, further, darker.... But the end becomes bigger, closer, and brighter :/ Creepy D:
