- Hello everybody welcome to another play through of fallout 4 this time we are returning to the good ol' power armour play-through this time we go to the raider power armour! We've done T-45 power armour so this will be alot of fun

Kinda stupid but can you beat fallout 4 as General Shepherd from MW2. You can only use a .44 and no uniques and a basic combat knife as well as military fatigues and the military cap. For your end faction you actually betray the one you work with first and side with their enemy

pretty sure the reason the full set of raider power armor didnt spawn is because you were at such a low level, the amount of pieces and sometimes even the kind of armor that spawns depends on your level

The scrounger perk can also help as fusion cores are ammunition. Not as reliable as straight up buying them but finding a few extra in ammo containers is nice.
can definitely vouch for this especially for the mid game if you get scrounger and fortune finder you'll have no worries for fusion cores :D
Finding 3-7 fusion cores in a box is kinda alot in the early game, I agree
Great vid man! Love the power armour challenges. Since this was raider armour it gave me the idea for the drugged out raider challenge so I figured I’d put it here. So you have to be addicted to every substance in fallout. You can only use weapons found on dead raiders. You cant buy anything you have to steal pickpocket or murder for your items. Also nuka world items are probably too strong so keep it to base game raider items for a challenge!
Can do this yes might have to rule out the substance and replace with any addictive substance must automatically be taken once it's in our inventory and party boy can't taken as a perk but certainly can give it a try!

My friend so hard when you called him Rock Raider. There's actually one of my favorite games when I was a kid, my aunt got it for me when I was like five. I would absolutely love to see you do a playthrough of Lego Rock Raiders I know that's not what your chin was known for but it would still be fucking amazing to watch. I rebeat it during covid and got all the Nostalgia feels

yep Ingram gives it as a bonus quest when you side with the brotherhood after captain kells wants the railroad dealt with :D

can you beat fallout 4 as the lone wanderer would be a fun run/challenge, so you can only use leather armor, vault suit and a hunting rifle. (as shown in the promo trailer)

Say what else you want about Fallout 4, but man, it's implementation of power armor is so dang cool. Really wish some more games would copy it.
I've seen quite a few of these fallout challenge videos. It's really nice to see a more relaxed and chill one.

Why the cap perk instead of the ammo one pretty sure the ammo one can give you fusion cores?
fortune finder rank II can be taken slightly earlier so kind of made alot of sense I guess
Scrounger doesn't apply to fusion cores. You can see the affected ammo types on the wiki.
Can you beat Fallout 4 using Gun Roulette. I.E. picking up a weapon, using it to kill someone, then drop that weapon. Pick up the next weapon you see, then rinse and repeat.
had a couple of requests for this actually don't see why not would be alot of fun I'll probably bump up the difficulty though to legendary if I try this in the future

Like ones that are actually power amrors but with obvious signs of damages and being repaired with scrap and junk . Bethesda should make that be the raider amror in fallout 5
I always use that special book thing, then get down to the library ASAP.
However, I’ve seen this show up a lot, but people should take the scrounger perk instead. The amount of times I’ve found 4 fusion cores just in a bin, not even an ammo box or safe. The caps one is a waste, as the ammo is just trading goods if you don’t use it. I saw someone rely on shops for gamma rounds in a run, when the scrounger perk is right there.

I usually carry raider power armor arms and legs on my automatron buddy and swap them out with damaged parts to give a "field repair" look for battle damage when I go on long runs.

You know with how difficult this run was just to start (along with the silver shroud one being a task to get going) I’m kind of curious what other unique item runs could be possible. Like the junk jet is easy enough because of Danse being a powerhouse of a fighter. The deliver would be an interesting one even if the weapon itself is very powerful cause you have to go through an entire gauntlet to get it. There’s also the Tesla rifle, mr handy buzzsaw, assaultron blade and Salvaged assaultron head that have the same thing going as the deliver (though the head is a far worse weapon). The cryolater would be interesting since it has a very real ammo cap, but is very easy to get a hold of with dog meat. There’s also the alien blaster, but that’s got a lot of luck in getting it to spawn added to it as well.
funnily enough the cryolater is one I'm probably going to do fairly soon but it's aquiring the weapon which is difficult not impossible but that's half the fun :D
@@InsaneFrame well if you farm out levels in sanctuary it should be possible to get the level requirement for master lock pick. That said I don’t know if you count the well rested+crafting posts method to be an exploit since it’s very much not an intended thing to do in the game. There’s also Dogmeat’s fetch item command, but that is literally a glitch that I think Bethesda just kept in for fun so probably out of the question for your runs.

@@TheRandomEevee I didn’t know the alien blaster had a level requirement. I thought it was just luck and random chance. I could image sworn I’ve gotten the event at like level 12 before

Just so your aware the fallout four allows you to have standard stats that are over 11, you can just use the special book with a level 10 stat and get it to level 11, I have a character who has level 11 and everything but endurance which is 12 because of the bobble heads.

I've seen that power armor "bug" before, what actually happened was that an NPC nearby decided to get into the power armor. When that happened, the power armor locked up. If you had stuck around, you'd have missed out on the undersuit, but you could still have gotten the parts.

Also, next time you want to do the intelligence debuff trick, there is actually free beer in sanctuary itself! One is on the patio table behind one of the bloatfly houses (the one on the cul-de-sac). There's a beer bottle on the table too, but also some sort of beer. There's also two or three Gwinnett stouts in the root cellar in the beer box next to the shelves.
All Gwinnett drinks have the same -1 INT debuff as regular beer, and they're free!! (not that beer is expensive, but it does save a little bit of time)

That stuck in the wall power armor is always there, and don't bother to try to get in it, it'll be marked as stolen, you weren't unlucky at all
All power armor frames have 100% fusion cores guaranteed, except the T-45 the game gives you in concord, that has 50%, you weren't lucky at all
Fusion Cores are stupidly easy to find if you actually explore the starting area:
Head across the Sanctuary lake to find the Robotics Disposal Ground with 1 maybe two fusion cores in a box near the sentry bot, don't worry, he's a unique sentry bot the player can power on and send to several military locations to clear them out, or you could just kill him for fusion cores, all easily doable with a terminal inside the building nearby, there's also a fat man ontop some cars, as well as a mini nuke just outside the gate going to the road on the left, also there's a hot rod flames power armor paint job that gives free agility if you paint it on power armor, it requires nothing but of course raider power armor can't be painted
At the first Red Rocket Truckstop, yes the one with dogmeat, you can find a molerat nest hidden just down hill in the right corner at the back of the building, yes this is where those little shits come from, there's a fusion core right beside a radioactive nuclear generator, on the ground
Right down the road from the Robotics Disposal Ground is a satellite dish and building full of raiders, inside is a fusion core generator, and a raidee with a minigun, but outside nearby the satellite is a crashed vertibird with leveled power armor that has, you guessed it, a 100% fusion core
The super duper mart has a fusion generator
If you get that looting perk with the vault boy looting a chest (I forget what it's called) eventually it'll starting just raining fusion cores basically, hope you like accidentally finding 4 fusion cores while looting, yes 4 100% cores at once, again only the museum of freedom fusion core will not have 100% from my knowledge, maybe the dlc power armors are different, but not vanilla (I've never played the dlc)
And just loot the leveled power armor spawns, they are all over the map, there's a power armor spawn map on google to easily locate them
This is hugely helpful thankyou alot of it is so easy to overlook but when doing power armour runs fortune finder is a must have perk to rank 2 as quickly as possible

I usually never leave the starting area lol, also the reason I never got around to the dlc, I have beat the game before though
Buying a beer isn't neccessary at the start of these runs. In the cellar in sanctuary there is alcohol that gives you the int debuff, meaning you can get 11 int before leaving sanctuary

@@InsaneFrame yeah when you enter sanctuary from the vault, go to the road and turn left. The first house at the turn to the roundabout is the house its behind. Its also got a tree you can climb up in the back and theres a dufflebag on the roof.

@@InsaneFrame it's not really poking fun at the accent, more like taking the piss out of it as brits love to do. Now, I'm not British myself, but I have studied in Brighton for a while so I'm quite integrated in the culture. My favourite part of the UK is the accents though, so wide and varied compared to American accents. In my honest opinion, American accents are close to the same depending on the state, where as in the UK it can vary exponentially from city to city or town to town. Doesn't even have to be more than a few kilometres for a change in accents.

My next FO4 playthrough will be Hardcore Survival Evil Raider Junkie Melee Only in Raider Armor. I’ll give myself the Raider Armor right away but will have to find Junkie weapons myself. Idk how horrible that run will be but I’m excited!
I actually have a few Rock Raiders sets, which I somehow ended up with a decade after the theme was cancelled, so I don't remember where I got them from.

Must start with an even distribution of SPECIAL points (3 across).
Can't raise any attribute past 5.
Can't use any gear that raises attributes. (temporary buffs are ok)
No PA.
Only average weapons or armor. (No high tech, or fantasy stuff, no legendaries)
Suggestion : beat fallout 4 as The casual Fallout Player
Use only bugs and glitches to beat F4

Get the power armour north of Sanctuary, unequip all the pieces, go to Lexington and punch the raider with the Fatman and power armour to death and steal all the armour pieces. Don't know if it would still count but it's close enough in my book. 👍
I would say that is within the rules but for me I wouldn't do that mainly because I would feel that not having the power armour in the first place kind of breaks the rules but not really and most of all I can't let you viewers down

The Raider power armor look so cool it's ashamed that it sucks
it's not actually that bad as you can use steel to repair it and aluminium to upgrade it, if you want top notch armour the legendary T-60 variant after completing the main story is arguably the best

He posesses armor called yorkshire tea gold, the magnificent pipe gun that shoots cluster mininukes at an alarming rate, and ofcourse the fork and knife!

You can't attack without it, right? You aren't attacking if you're blocking. I believe it'd be alright to block melee and unarmed from enemies if you're doing a run with a rule like that, but I'm not the one doing the challenge.
Just noticed how much quality you got in the video, it's awesome! The content was cool enough, but seeing it in 4k is cooler.
you can block absolutely, when doing these runs i usually try my best to get the weapon asap as its so difficult without it

I just realized the shoulder parts on the raider power armor are from the T-51
they are indeed, there repurposed t-52 power armour parts to form raider power armour

This shouldn’t be that hard, just go max intelligence build so you can max out a Gatling laser (is best gun in game by the way) and get heavy gunner perk. Just be sure to max the scrounger and fortune finder perk so you can pay or find more fusion cores. Also farming purified water with the water purifiers will help you get caps. Also don’t forget about the nuclear physicist perk as well, your FC’s will last longer for all weapons.
How bout can you beat fallout new Vegas as a tf2 merc? Like lever action shotgun, pistol, and baseball bat for scout, flamer, flare gun, and fire axe for pyro, rocket launcher or red glare, hunting shotgun, and shovel for soldier, grenade rifle or launcher, c4s or explosives in general, and nail board, or katana for Demoman, minigun, hunting shotgun and fists, spiked knuckles or boxing gloves and healing only through eating for heavy, sniper rifle, smgs, and machete for sniper, and revolvers, switchblade, stealth boys, and mainly stealth kills for spy. Ofc dressing up as them while doing so
Could do I'd probably add something in but yeah TF2 could certaionly be viable for sure :D

Imagine a challenge where you have to beat the game with weak power armor and you cannot upgrade it but here is the main thing for the challenge non of the part's of the armor are allowed to be broken if one piece breaks ya gotta reload a save before that happened or restart the run that would be hell

It's not a bad piec eof armour since it's so easy to repair it's actually one of my favourite T60 is my favorite closely followed by T45

it has it's perks in the form of low maintenance and easy to repair still has it's strengths but when compared to T-45 it does miss some marks and T-60 it's not even a comparison especially with the legendary pieces you can get on the T-60
