You can only connect the iPad to the Studio 192 if the your ISP allows UDP port forwarding on your router. The vast majority of ISPs do not allow it for security reasons. The only solution is to set up a separate wireless network with a separate router that is not connected to the internet and deal with all the hassles that having two wireless networks entails and of course having no internet connectivity for the computer your DAW is running on.
@3:02 it would be super awesome if they marked "-18dbFS" next to one of the LEDs.....or if the LED is too broad, put it somewhere in the vicinity. -18 is the new 0.
Because this unit is USB 3.0, does that mean it will take care of the CPU spikes that introduce all kind of unwanted clicks and stutters that are so common in Presonus S1 3?
Why doesnt Sweetwater have this product anymore? Presonus hasn't announced that its discontinued. I love purchasing everything i can from Sweetwater, but this baby isnt even on their website. Its a bummer that i have to now find it elsewhere. 😭 Did Presonus discontinue it and just hasnt released it in their discontinued product list on their website? They are getting hard to find. It would be a shame if they fully replaced it with the Quantum. I cant use Thunderbolt devices and the 1824c doesnt have what im looking for in an interface. The Studio 192 is perfect for my needs.
Nice review ! One question : when doing any processing on a channel on the control software (eq, comp, whatever), will it affect the signal going to the DAW or is this just going to the mixes for monitoring ?

Thunderbolt is awesome if u have Apple or Intel. I love my AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU, but it does suck that Thunderbolt still isn't available with AMD since its an Intel technology
