With onboard volume control, SG-2 is a perfect choice in a piezo pickup for guitar. It’s an acoustic guitar bridge pickup that transfers the natural sound of your instrument without requiring modification.
Unlike other guitar pickups, SG-2 installs safely and securely between the bridge saddle and pins, held in place by the tension of tuned strings. This steel-string guitar pickup may remain installed when not in use.
Two cables are included - plug in directly with the 9-ft. 1/8" to 1/4" cable, or use the 3-ft. 1/8" to female 1/4" jumper with safety clip to connect with the instrument cable of your choice.

For me, a soundhole pickup is a better solution for a steel string guitar. They sound much better than this pickup and do not necessarily require permanent installation. I like the L. R. Baggs M1 and the Fishman Neo -D humbucker. Both are passive pickups that deliver very good sound.

What keeps the picku in place? Is there an adhesive? Might be for me. 2 acoustics that need pickups. i don't want to alter them in any way. No tools or skills and know how to use them anyway. Also, concerned about string clearance above the pickup. Thanks for the video
