Trick Daddy recounted growing up in Liberty City, Miami during its peak drug years. He observed that Grand Theft Auto’s depiction of Liberty City paled in comparison to the reality. During his upbringing, he noted a pervasiveness of the drug trade, explaining every corner hosted four drug spots that retailed the highest quality narcotics. Despite the heavy drug activity, crime rates remained surprisingly low. He condemned the negative impact of government projects on families, arguing they displace fathers, and consequently, youngsters turned to respected figures in the drug trade for guidance. He expressed nostalgia for the disarming innocence earlier times held, when personal relations and affiliations determined one's background rather than other, more problematic, factors.

Growing up in Florida one of the neighborhoods in Orlando I lived in, we referred to it as New Malibu or Bu Town. It was a predominantly black neighborhood, surrounded by other black neighborhoods like Carver Shores and Washington Heights, and poke n bean projects.
Back then, Trick Daddy Dollars as he was was a prominent figure to us youngsters. When he was in Orlando, he associated with some of the older local drug dealers in our hood.
As youngsters in the neighborhood, we looked up to them and aspired to be like them. They drove Cadillacs and Regals with the rag tops, bass coming out the trunk from the two 12-inch woofers in the back, along with Trus and Vogues.
Trick Daddy was featured on Uncle Luke's song "Scarred" at that time, he went hard on it back then and still resonates today.
Vlad you should have also asked Trick Daddy about Jam Pony, Vlad you got to get Slick Vick on your show, they were the some of the Pioneers of the Florida / Miami Rap scene.

Liberty City is the equivalent of New York City in GTA. Vice City is the equivalent of Miami or anywhere in that area on GTA. And San Andreas is the equivalent of LA. From the outside looking in. I can see how you confuse it, but Vlad strategically does this to get the conversation rolling. Because as a boss from the position he’s in. He’s a boss in his mindset and workers play games. Though Vlad plays games on a treadmill, he’s not a gamer. I’m technically not a gamer, but I feel I’m more than Vlad because I play at my own leisure on my down time. I don’t make money off it by streaming it though. Haven’t figured out how to do that or care to commit that much time honestly.
