    Great job Cory.

    I did this trail today. The best part was all downhill flowy sections.
    Climbs were punchy and rooty.
    Walked some of the steep climbs. The trail is in a way better shape than I am 😂.
    Will ride it again.

    This is by far the best footage from Pontiac Lake that I've watched. It's my home trail, I ride it multiple times a week & you filmed it perfectly. Beautifil video!

    Very neat filming Duke, I love that you switched it up. Mad props to you and the better half.

      I was just going to ask how you got all of those shots from the side of the trail?

    I grew up in Waterford. There were some really cool places where you could drive your car on different trails

    My best time in Waterford was the Clinton river. We did a lot of camping and we would usually have a row boat and a canoe.

    This was awesome. Raw sounds of nature, biking, and some really nice shots! Gonna try from that lot now, looks faster sooner.

      I'm glad you liked it. I was debating wether to add music or keep it "raw". I'm glad I kept it "raw: Anyway, I love starting on Maceday Road. It start and ends in great sections, while with the main parking lot, it starts and ends in the most boring sections. It feels like a different trail from Maceday. Starts off smooth(perfect to warm up on) and ends with all the big stuff.

    Nice shredding and most impressive edit. You either had 44 seperate camera operators set up for this video or you had one very helpful and understanding wife. 👍😊

      You can thank my wife for that. We spent all day on that trail recording those shots.

      @@WarrenLeeds And for that, I thank my lucky stars. 😉 I let her know right away when I read this comment. She's a huge part of this channel. Couldn't do it without her.

    Nice job! I know that trail well and you were taking those sections at a very good pace. Your riding has really improved compared to your first videos. Keep it up 👍🏻

    For a second there I thought you raised the bar and used a SOLOSHOT. Great video.

      If my wife wasn't there, I would have probably used the insta 360 one x. Not as crisp video quality, but it would have done the job. Lucky for me, I married the right person. 👍😉

    I like the corkscrew section.

      Me too. I would have dropped in from the side but they blocked it off with logs and branches. I wonder if my last video there had anything to do with that

      You have to. It changes the whole feel of the trail. I think you'll like it. Ending on a high note is always good. 🤙😁👍

    You should hide your plate.

      @softpraise That car has long been sold. We did start bluring our plates after this video though. 👍

    I just found your channel. Do you mostly ride on the East side of the state? I'm on the west side of Mi

    • @dukeofmtb
      @dukeofmtb  5 лет назад +1

      I'm glad you did. I do indeed ride mostly the east side. One day, I might check out the trails on your side but I still have a ton of trails on this side to do videos of. 👍😁

    Better than the trails at dte?

    • @dukeofmtb
      @dukeofmtb  5 лет назад +1

      Not better, just different. If you're looking for flow and some jumps, go to DTE. If you like rugged, rooty descents with a little gnar and rocky drops, go to Pontiac Lake. Both are great.
