I’m such a huge mcu fan but had no idea what they were going to do with a Agatha solo show. This is the best Marvel tv show since wandavision. Absolutely dynamic, gay and fabulous.
For real, wandavision is still by far my favorite show but this is coming close. I'm waiting for the finale to cast my final judgement but I'm loving it so far, fingers crossed it closes strong!

Weird theory, but I believe Sharon is actually a green witch with latent abilities, which Agatha recognized and knew she’d have the power to step in. Otherwise, I don’t think the road would’ve opened.
To expand on this discussion it totally makes sense for Agatha to be the witch of water within her coven given the way her power of stealing others magic works. When you talk about how water works in nature it always finds it way to a greater whole (lakes or oceans) Agatha takes power from others and their lives in turn which is kind what happens to smaller bodies of water when they feed into others (creeks into rivers, river into lakes, etc.) Water will also cut or erode through hard stone to carve its own path. Just thought that was an interesting detail and I didn't think of it until I saw this comment and watched it back. They do kind of fill the role of each element in turn, taking on certain characteristics.

In the classical community, we sometimes refer to that as sonority, but I think what makes something sonorous is a little more complicated than that in terms of voice-leading. In the Common Practice era, sonority was basically the Holy Grail. I think they nailed it here.
In this instance, it was likely just achieved through the audio mix and them having distinctive parts. You can tell it has more to do with the mix because the voice up front changes based on whomever the camera is focused on.

I am constantly singing/humming/chanting the chorus during my day. I was doing the same with the WandaVision songs when the show dropped. The Lopez's really know how to write catchy earworm songs.
Notice when she said "Fire, water, earth and air" 0:13 She foreshadows their trials and upcoming events. "Fire" Agatha points at Alice. "Water" She points at Jennifer "Earth" She points down (To Rio who comes out of the ground) "Air" Then slowly rises to Lilia (Just like their levitation clip from the promo)
Not a foreshadowing, but a plotline. Agatha and the other girls already knew their Elements. Their jobs told us what the elements they were associated with, and probably why they asked for/needed a Green/Earth Witch because they knew one of the trials has to do with Earth.
I'm not a huge MCU fan, but making this show a strange witchy road trip was such a fun idea. The actors are all wonderful and I would totally watch a longer series about the coven just vibing and getting into hijinks tbh.

This whole sequence was so cool. Seeing the whole coven together while they were really getting in to the chant and Ms. Hart excited jumping up and down. The suspense building up as the song progressed. teen (wiccan) and herb seeing the salem seven horrified and them getting closer and closer. After watching the last ep this hits harder and im excited to see what marvel will bring us next.

This was the best song in the history of marvel. Absolutely amazing, and knowing how Agatha and her son created it was heartbreaking. It explains exactly why Agatha is why she is - a witch stole the most precious thing from her, so she spent 400 years getting revenge and stealing from other witches. She's a villain and terrible person, but you understand why.
This is my favorite Marvel Show since Wandavision, and gotta say, one of my top 10 shows of all time. After seen everything, I feel the urge to rewatch it. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t looking forward to this show at all before it premiered… Now, though? It’s literally one of the most fun and enjoyable MCU shows I’ve ever watched, certainly from the Disney Plus era of content. It really makes you think of all the other women Agatha killed. They're not a statistic. They were all individuals with hopes and dreams just like Jen, Alice, and Lilia, and the selfishness of one woman snuffed them all out. Hundreds, maybe thousands over the years. Serial killers, war, terrorism, genocide, domestic violence. They all boil down to the same kind of selfishness that Agatha traded in.
Listening this song for the first time in Agatha series brings me some kind of inner piece and makes me feel better 😁😅 but repeatedly playing this in series and the truth behind this song in last episode brings me that type of fulfillness of emotions that I cannot ignore... this song is for someone average or not great, but I love this song so much ❤
Agatha has easily been my favorite "villain" of the marvel universe, she is very smart, cunning however also has a caring side. What's even more impressive is that she managed through without lying the entire time, she told Billy from the start it wasn't real, and just played it into her story when he conjured it up, she's smart and went through the trials tricking everyone into believing it was real, there are so many hints leading to the fact that the witches road is fake, they were just overlooked.
Wonder how many versions, how many different lyrics she heard during all those years perfectioning the act. Insane. The nailed it with this show. It really was Agatha All Along.

Not a foreshadowing, but a plotline. Agatha and the other girls already knew their Elements. Their jobs told us what the elements they were associated with, and probably why they asked for/needed a Green/Earth Witch because they knew one of the trials has to do with Earth.
I'm not a huge MCU fan, but making this show a strange witchy road trip was such a fun idea. The actors are all wonderful and I would totally watch a longer series about the coven just vibing and getting into hijinks tbh.

This whole sequence was so cool. Seeing the whole coven together while they were really getting in to the chant and Ms. Hart excited jumping up and down. The suspense building up as the song progressed. teen (wiccan) and herb seeing the salem seven horrified and them getting closer and closer. After watching the last ep this hits harder and im excited to see what marvel will bring us next.

This was the best song in the history of marvel. Absolutely amazing, and knowing how Agatha and her son created it was heartbreaking. It explains exactly why Agatha is why she is - a witch stole the most precious thing from her, so she spent 400 years getting revenge and stealing from other witches. She's a villain and terrible person, but you understand why.

It really makes you think of all the other women Agatha killed. They're not a statistic. They were all individuals with hopes and dreams just like Jen, Alice, and Lilia, and the selfishness of one woman snuffed them all out. Hundreds, maybe thousands over the years.
Serial killers, war, terrorism, genocide, domestic violence. They all boil down to the same kind of selfishness that Agatha traded in.
Listening this song for the first time in Agatha series brings me some kind of inner piece and makes me feel better 😁😅 but repeatedly playing this in series and the truth behind this song in last episode brings me that type of fulfillness of emotions that I cannot ignore...

Agatha has easily been my favorite "villain" of the marvel universe, she is very smart, cunning however also has a caring side. What's even more impressive is that she managed through without lying the entire time, she told Billy from the start it wasn't real, and just played it into her story when he conjured it up, she's smart and went through the trials tricking everyone into believing it was real, there are so many hints leading to the fact that the witches road is fake, they were just overlooked.
This scene is so much deeper after finishing the series
