Maura West is the greatest. The fact that Y&R gave her a role that she was too young for and poorly written is not her fault. She is giving 110 after knowing she has been fired. You go girl.
Biggest mistake Y&R have made to fire a power house like Maura. She needed a new role and act all the actresses blown away! Not one of them on Y&R can act like Maura does.
Maura West should have been given a new role on YR, instead of recasting Diane. This is plain ridiculous to have a Maura play a role that is supposed to be significantly older than her. When Alex Donnelly was in the role she was probably in her early 50s in the late 90s to early 2000. Then, Susan Walters assumed the role, which would have been more believable that to have Maura West playing Diane.
@@tanicathornton8249 It was the hair for me! If she had dyed it to a brunette colour. She would have been believable playing an older woman. Funny because on GH she wore a Black wig pretending to be Ava twin sister lol. At least...she could have did it on Y&R, wear a wig.
