I just watched the awards 4/26/15 and saw Maura win and mention the curtsy - I remember the first time and cried - watched it now and I'm still in tears - What a beautiful moment

I've watched ATWT for 40+ years. And I'm a straight guy. I hoped Sept. 2010 never would come because there is nothing that can fill the void of this great show being pulled. It's going to take awhile for it to sink in after 9/17. It's "almost" like losing a loved one. ATWT, you can never be replaced.
I'm so happy I just can't explain!! I'm still in shock and in tears that our beloved Mickey and MoJo both won!!! They both so deserved it!!! Well done Maura!! YOu rock!!!
I'm beyond thrilled MW won as well as MP. How awesome was it when she brought her daughter up both with tears? A great way to send off our show by recognizing 2 of its best performers.
Ironic that he presented her this award #2, then and years later they both ended up entangled on GH. Their story line just wrapped up with her time on the show and both of them did outstanding and handled it with grace and dignity.Glad she won,Maura truly deserved her 2015 Emmy,her third! I told my mother when she joined the cast to get ready.

Admittedly, I wasn't expecting Maura to win, though I did hope she would pull it out. What a WONDERFUL LADY. I love Maura West. I love her dedication to the craft, the way she seems to love her children and how gracious she is. When she called her daughter up on the stage, I fell into a puddle of tears. CARJACK FOREVER...
I haven't seen nearly as much ATWT as I have GL, but they were the only two daytime shows I would touch and I remember the Spa Storyline back in 2001 or 2002 with Carly, Emily, and Rose (among others) and how fantastic the entire cast was.
I couldn't help but tear up when I saw this. Maura ROCKS. she deserved this so so sooo much and how cute, her daughter :) I can NOT believe ATWT is over soon... and for Mickey and Mojo to both win, it's like a final and amazingly good thank you and farewell gift! though I'm hoping we'll be seeing both of them on tv, forever.
Anyone else realize that in less than a day this clip has more views than 1-2 weeks ago when Carly told Jack off? MW has herself some fans. She's an awesome actress though so makes total sense.
that moment when Michael Easton presents her the award then 3-4 years later they play former lovers/parents to kiki on GH lol she deserves every win she's gotten!!!!
makes me sick that they canned as the world turns, they have had so many great actors and actresses.. I was happy for Maura West and Michael Park, both had outstanding work. West's portrayal of a woman struggling with addiction was heartbreaking at times and Park's portrayal of a man who accidentally killed his own brother and the guilt he had was tremendous and haunting
@Bliss44 You are entitled to your opinion and I am not trying to turn you into a Maura West fan, but I was curious, do you watch As the World Turns? If yes, how often and for how long?
@nachomuchacho12 OMg you're so lucky!!! My dream is to meet Maura!! She seems like such an awesome person!! She has one of the best personalities from what I can tell in some of her interviews!!! I wish her and her family the absolute best, and I'll keep dreaming, wishing, and praying that maybe we can one day see mickey and mojo on screen together again!! LOL
@815547 Yes I did, and Maura's performance was by far better. CC material toward the end of GL (they only got to pick from a small amount due to being cancelled) was a bit manic. Her obsessing over Olivia was borderline stalkerish.
