  • Found a decent amount of snapper early in the morning which was a good surprise and a bit of fun on light tackle. The true goal of the day was to get a Jewy but we only managed a decent cod in the end.

      Just from the weed beds closest the the mouth usually. Clearer the water the better.

    Hi great Channel . Just a Q. How many rod combos do you have for the gold coast. We want to fish the creeks rivers and broadwater on the light gear but still able to get the jacks and trevally ..thanks

      I try and run one light, one medium and one medium heavy. Light combo is 2-10lb range, medium is 15-20lb range and the medium heavy is 30-50lb range. For Jack's and trevally get a 10kg rod at least 7ft, 4000 size reel is okay with 30lb braid and 50lb fluro dedicated to throwing metals, stick baits or livelys at them.     Nice work boys . You running 1/4 jh 3/0 hook and which boat ramp do you lanch ?
