Here I sit. It is April 9th, 2021 1116 am, as I type this. Alone, at a Panera Bread...listening to this. The day is rainy, grey clouds cover the sky. It is in the 50s and only ever so slightly windy. A perfect day, if you ask me. I am drinking my coffee, a medium half decaf half Hazelnut...the bagel already fell. And just thinking, ruminating, reflecting on my life. It is a good day.
I wish I were there with you. It sounds like a perfect day.
Here it is August 26th, 2024.
It's hot and still and not a single sound. Soon the sun will go down and another day has passed. A beautiful day. A calm and peaceful day.....but no one here to sit with. Tonight the stars will be out and the lights twinkle in the valley below. The view will be beautiful and I'll say a prayer for someone I never met.
This is one of the best piano songs ever composed. It's one of my favorites by far. Thank you so much for being an inspiration.
42 raindrops on the window. They land, the fall, they form, they disintegrate. 2 lightning strikes glowing purple and blue, flashing, thunder, flashing, thunder. Wind blowing, howling, screaming. But all you see is a rainy day. You don’t see the beauty or the awesomeness of the phenomenon before you. You see an inconvenience, a nuisance, a plan canceled, a blip of your life wasted. Look around you and see, for there is beauty in everything.
Beyond me why this doesn't have 10M+ views. Epic piece. Brian, on your next piece, you should shoot footage at Priest Lake instead of Coeur d'Alene Lake. Way more beautiful. Cheers and take care.
