I been waiting for Gabriel to be playable, with slayer added it would be a great time to add Gabriel as they are rivals.
(note: when i say it would be a great time because they added slayer i more meant that they added slayer to strive reccently i am well aware he is from previous games in the series)
If they add Gabriel I’d love for him to be a fast grappler. We still only have Potemkin as a grappler but a character with faster mobility and a focus on grabs since he taught Potemkin his moves Gabriel would be amazing

@konabos747 oh I know, you're talking to a lore expert. He's also into the occult and is really knowledgeable about ghost which means he would have defenses against ghosts and would be able to know how to control them. Especially since he is still a ghost conduit. So why not play with that idea? He uses ghosts as a defensive in fights and is literally a Jojo character, using ghosts alongside himself to fight. Besides I'm sure arc sys could make it not only work but be cool as hell

Totally agree with Venom (and Zappa too, add Jam and it's perfect), he is the coolest character in GG by far. Story wise, didn't he become a baker just to buy Roberto kyle a new body? So it's not like he is locked for life from the story, plus like, half of the roster's story has been finished since XX (same for returning characters like Slayer and Elphelt), so having a finished story doesn't really matter that much.
nah it isn't really "done". zato's story was done in xx, slayer's was done like a century ago. they'll always make more story for literally every character

Gabriel would be so fucking gas. Strive NEEDS another Grappler, & he would be sick. Obviously he wouldn't be as slow as potemkin, but a faster grappler sounds pretty fun.

Plus, with Ragna's appearance, it would build hype for a potential future 2.5D Blazblue game with 3D models. With -Strive- money and popularity, it would definitely be possible to do.

There’s no reason they can’t add him just because he doesn’t have a body. If they can make up reasons why Paracelsus is all goopy and changing now then they can give him a new body
I feel like most people who are against robo ky are:
- completelly unaware that he is in fact not dead at all because somehow people think that happened.
- think they're an echo fighter, while imo he is one of the coolest characters in +R.
or just.... really protective of a character they like.
If you can make Faust a walking corpse, Bedman fucking dead, or Elphelt a rockstar. You can give Robo-Ky a new body.

I think it would be really cool to get Fanny from GG Petit. She's basically a forgotten character, having only appeared in the Japan-exclusive WonderSwan games. Seeing her get a modern redesign and an updated moveset would be super interesting!

I never really learned Blazblue as it's sorta weird to me but i always did like Ragna's moves visually. So getting him as a crossover character would be extremely sick.

The Jam files the "leakers" found during season 1 has been confirmed by the devs during the 1st year anniversary stream for the game, to be there because the Xrd Jam model in it, was what they used to learn and improve on facial animation for Strive.
That's all that was ever about.

You want a fodder character for a Holy Order Sol replacement? Honestly I think Tyr from Guilty Gear Xtra could work. He's got a superweapon in his body, the bar could be something about how much it has taken over (yeah it can take over his body. He's kinda another take on Ragna, sorta). Plus he's got at least mildly interesting lore to do with Ky, the Holy Order, Anji, Baiken, and Axl.

Also btw you know someone made an interesting idea on how hos can come back. Since canonically he is no longer sol badguy but is Frederick someone said that with him now human and no longer strong enough to use the junkyard mk3 and so maybe he would use a huge chunk on concrete and also maybe would play like hos as he is relearning his fire magic as a human now rather than being super knowledgeable about how powerful he used to be when he was a gear.
I mean it is a fun what if and inuniverse way to bring back hos without it being weird

I would like to have Frederick(Sol Badguy) from after the story as a gadget character that would borrow mechanics from Holy Order Sol. He uses some old technology and some power cells so he could have a special move charge mechanic that you need to replenish in a somewhat similar way. And it would be fun to see Sol Badguy against Science Guy Frederick.
Someone once jokingly suggested a little catboy wielding a jet engine as weapon. I unironically want that character to be in Strive. That's really all I had to say about the subject XD
i've been advocating for a post-strive story sol that has order sol's moveset for years not gonna lie

Clearly the next character is Daisuke's boy from Chunithm, Patriot! He's basically sol and ky mixed together anyways. Plus Daisuke gave him a move list too.

Honestly what I want the most is way too specific to actually happen but I want Venom to come back as a baker with his fighting stick thing now being a comically long rolling pin. You can have Robo Ky fly around him and idk assist somehow, there's def cool gameplay possibilities other than Venom batting Robert's head like a baseball.

Slayer is back so I got my favorite dandy vampire but if I had to give a character for season 4 I would just like to have dizzy, she's a definite pick for season 4. In terms of characters, I'm most knowledgeable with her and her lore.

If we get Ragna i thik that there are 2 options, the first is just ragna but hes a bit sleepy after he gets teleported by gods will or something, wich i dont think will happen because his kit is IDENTICAL to sols kit exept the follow ups and nightmare edje, or SWORDLESS RAGNA, wich could be interesting seing that his sword was taken by someone at the post credits of bbcf, wich could explain the first option.

8:43 YES! exactly i've been saying! i once had the idea that they should make "Frederick Bulsara" his own character and it would be 1-for-1 HOS refitted into Strive, but the charge gauge is based on all the gadgets he's been inventing and keeping them charged up for battle
