In this build series I'm making a motorized shoe to be used in virtual reality games. My goal is that the shoe will allow you to walk as much as you want in the virtual world while staying in the same spot in the real world.
In this video, in this video I show the new omni wheels I found online. They work for this application. I tested them out with my shoe but ran into some trouble with forward/backward motion. I redid the layout and tested again and both forward/backward and side-to-side motion work great! I think this is the design. Soon I'll make a second shoe.
