Writing 'first' was so tempting but I can('t) resist :P Interesting to hear that the badlands bikes actually were the new ATLAS types! Thanks for sharing some bike-building footage. Good luck with your upcoming rides!
Love your content. But everytime you making videos in the garden i think: the guy needs to scarify his lawn. Now is the time martijn, early spring 🌱😂✌️
Good luck with the leeze wheels. I have the same hubs (so the CC50 set) and it already needed new parts for the rear hubs after 6k km on only streets.. Fingers crossed and all the best for the two events, sound like a lot of it!
How are the Leeze? I was looking into them early this year to perhaps upgrade my beloved Topstone with some fresh (Leeze) wheels … Love ur content Martijn ❤
100% convinced to buy the Tailfin setup now! Is it easy to switch between bikes (one of my bikes is QR and one Thru Axle), and what panniers do you use with it? Looking forward to the ultimate bike packing gear list too :)
I have a 2017 Paralane. It's been a good bike, and I would have bought another to replace it had Focus bothered to give it a refresh or show interest in developing it further.
Don’t know if you’re still sponsored by Leeze or ever were 😅 …but how are the hubs and bearings? I wanna buy a pair for my gravel and it has to endure a lot in the colder months. And sadly my zipp303s bearings were suffering a lot and couldn’t take the beating. Cheers thx
Hey Martijn, very informative video. Also congrats on the Traka 360. Very impressive. Question: did you put in the vittoria air-liner 'gravel' inserts? On their website it says max 40mm tires. I want to use inserts with 45mm Pirelli Cinturato tires.
Are you sponsored or who pays for all the expensive equipment? If you pay it, what do you work? Do a Q&A about yourself. That would be interesting. Nice hair color, just right for hot races :-)
Mr. Martijn Assange , King of bleech 😊 exiting to see the new setup in action.

Hahaha ok i’ll do it! Its mostly moss by now
Ah finally, a carbon Atlas! Looks great!
Nice Fiets Martijn,..: veel plezier bij de Gravel Events… Stay Safe
Looking forward to watching the new events while I’m stuck indoors!
Please do a video about your bike packing setup🙂 Good luck on all of your exiting adventures...
Nice video Martijn, good to see the positive vibed you. Keep it up, very inspiring to go on my next packingtrip!
Totally love this setup

Hmm, i’ll let you know in 2 months how mine are after 6k ;)
7:30 that sound when you breaked.. check, if your disc lock ring is tightened enough. 40Nm!
nevermind.. you changed the wheels anyway.
Looking forward to seeing the new bike out riding with the CREW 🚴🏻♂️
Martijn …😂… great hair color, thank you for taking us with on the trip With your new carbon bike🎉 … you look really motivated… enjoy the trip …
✌️
Great looking setup!
Sick bike! Fork looks awesome on it. Shred Girona. 🤘
Bike looking great - good to see it in real life and have a quick chat before the dirty reiver. Look forward to seeing the up coming vids
Hope you enjoyed Dirty Reiver as much as we did, a video on it should be out soon!
@@Fernwee 👍 I’ll wave as I pass Tilburg during RATNgx!
good tire choice, found them to be the best mix of grip and speed for gravel.
what tire is it?

I was looking into them early this year to perhaps upgrade my beloved Topstone with some fresh (Leeze) wheels …
Love ur content Martijn ❤
I would like to know this also. @Fernwee can you please let us know 😊
nice bikeee :)
Another User asked before, I have the same question.
Which Brand is your T-Shirt from?
Thanks 🙏
Nice Video! Which Shirt-Brand you‘re wearing?
100% convinced to buy the Tailfin setup now! Is it easy to switch between bikes (one of my bikes is QR and one Thru Axle), and what panniers do you use with it? Looking forward to the ultimate bike packing gear list too :)
I use the 10l pannier bags, and super easy to switch between bikes if you get a fitting axle for each bike!
Interested to know if Focus see this as the Paralane replacement. I understand it is now removed from their Road bikes lineup.
Pretty sure the Paralane will exist next to this one in the future!
I have a 2017 Paralane. It's been a good bike, and I would have bought another to replace it had Focus bothered to give it a refresh or show interest in developing it further.
Patience is a virtue
Agreed, but it's been in production with zero update or development since 2015!

Nice I love like this vdo please make more❤❤❤
What are your favorite gravel tires? Specialized Patfinder pro or Pirelli Cinturato gravel H?
Pathfinder!

Yep i used those gravel inserts, worked fine with my 45’s!
@@Fernwee Thx
Nice video as always. Are the Leeze CH 40 available in boost 12x110 mm / 12x148 mm or are those some custom ones? Best
They should be available for everyone, but maybe not directly on the website. An email should help you!
@@Fernwee Thx for your answear. I will email them. Good ride 🤙
@@bmxbmxbmxbmxbmx can you tell us about the answer from Leeze when you get one? I’m also interested in a boost version of the CH40 🙂
Hello and welcome to this fresh haircut
Let’s talk also about the bullitt in the background. That would be interesting

Nice but i also saw a Bullit, what is the race setup for that?
Haha still working on that
bike24 nice one martyn ^^
Hello Martijn, what kind of seatpost do you use on this bike. Thanks
It’s a VCLS seatpost produced by Ergon and sold (for cheaper) by Canyon!
Are you using a SRAM rival axs powermeter with the New SRAM force cranckset?
Just the force powermeter
Such a nice bike. I'd be so upset if you removed the badlands fork though as its so cool
Agreed
Now that's a sexy bike !
Can I ask what you use to protect paint from bag rub been looking at different tape but worried about it damaging paintwork when removed ?
Gorillatape!
@@Fernwee heb je een link? Alvast erg bedankt!
What kind of Saddle do u have? I have chacked my bones by me 14,7 cm what kan you offer me for grave wich size do i need ?
He's off the bourbon and onto the single malt!!?
What DT Swiss wheels you had installed before on your bike?
HGC1400
Fuck yeah! Just bought the 8.7!
What front rack are you using?
Allygn components Diamond rack, but turns out the atlas fork cant hold it, so not using it anymore
That’s one sexy bike!
How do you get your bike bag to manchester airport?
We didnt, got cardboard boxes in a bikeshop
Love your videos. Was curious what your experience with that VCLS seatpost is …
So far it feels pretty comfy!
Nooit problemen mer gehad 🤞
Personally go with a 3T but that's just me
Q: are all tailfin bags completely waterproof?
A: yes
why did you move to tilburg mate? was so much better in rotterdam!!
Maximum of 45c tires on a 29 wheelset? That's just a typical gravel bike if you ask me.
Keep shopping and traveling while the planet burns. It's not illegal...
Surprised no mullet setup? No one ever complains they have too low a gear for that menu....
Mike’s testing that, ive not run out of gears yet
Good video but the cuts make it a bit stressful to watch.
Tubeless setup "ad absurdum"
Why do you think?
Haha was it hard not to ride it again????
That bike is so sexy, RUclips should age-restrict this video. 🤤😍
Sorry but you can't do all with carbon. Still too fragile for the rough stuff unless you can afford a new frame once in 2 or 3 years...
Depends on what you do with it on the rough stuff i guess
I don’t like your hair 😂
I don't give a shit 😂
