what a lovely pattern thank you so much for sharing. Different throughout which makes it interesting to crochet and love the way you increase with FDC sts, never seen this before
Oh, hurray!! Thank you for putting this hat on a male. I’m hoping my husband will wear this after he sees the model. I watched the video half way to see how difficult it is for my understanding. You explained it well. Those posts are a bit tricky. Good thing there is a replay button😅
Love, love, love this hat pattern! I really enjoy your tutorials. ❤ I've crocheted several of your garments and decided that I needed to finally comment on how much I appreciate your work. You are a great instructor and the end product is absolutely beautiful! Keep making your videos!😊
sweet beanie I had to modify the stitches to work with my arthritis. I like it. thanks Crystal. Can you do a tutorial with an arthritis sufferer that is crocheting the item?
My arthritis tendinitis AND carpal tunnel all got much better from simply loosening up my grip on needle as of about 2 and a half months ago. I crochet daily since the end of 2019. Was having to use cbd hand cream with extra cbd oil added along with other home remedies. But not at all in last two months from simply loosening up my grip on my soft handled metal hook from hobby lobby. People thought my work was beautiful before. But loosening my grip just a little made projects all the more beautiful. ALSO if i spend too much time with repetitive use of my hands like especially on this glide keyboard or surfing the web, that will also interfere. Most of us from beginner to intermediate like me at 48 to you i expect seasoned crocheter tend to grip our hooks tighter than we realize even if your stitches were perfect. Might try these since I’ve had little to no trouble. (I do anticipate some of my arthritis pain to reappear in my knuckles as winter or rain sets in. For that i have my copper fingerless gloves. Hope this helps remedy your pain as it certainly has mine❤
Super cute hat I have made a lot of your hat designs I think my favorite still is the one with the cables around the cuff of the hat I really want someone to bring back that yarn it’s beautiful thank you for another great tutorial Crystal 😊
Hi Crystal, This hat is great for gals or guys. Enjoyed seeing you and your dh wearing the matching hats. Your tutorials are always easy to understand and follow along. 🧶🫂
I don't always decide to make a beanie as I'm watching the tutorial for the first tome, but this time I did. I'm so glad I made that decision! It turned out so pretty. I used Lion Brand's Schitt's Creek in the rose color. It's going to be so nice and warm. Thanks for another fabulous pattern.
I've made several of your beanies for my adult son. He loves them. I just lately started crocheting again after 2 years . This hat is a perfect start. I was so worried when I couldn't crochet , seriously couldn't. I crocheted for two years ,everyday and nights. Then boom , couldn't. Back to the beginning,my first you tube channel and my daily dose of Crystal . Love how you explain and take the time to show your work. It snowed here so time to crochet.
I'm constantly amazed at how many designs you come up with. This is another winner. I think I might have to premake a dozen or so front post crowns in different yarns and weights so that I can be prepared for more tutorials 😆
Thank you so much Crystal for another very cute looking beanie with an easy to follow tutorial. I love seeing your smiling face and Mr BOD there with you. ❤ :). I'm still working on making beanies to send to donate out to Western NC to help those folks so I will add this pattern to my list of beanies to make for them. I may also make one for myself or maybe for holiday gifts too... depends on my mood. I just got my yarn from Mary Maxim last night so I can make that poncho tutorial you recently released that is using the Ragg yarn. Now I just need to find more time to get everything done. (I'm not sure if you saw my message yesterday but if you need any help with pattern writing, reading, etc.. just let me know. ) I'm happy to help.
Awww, super cute! Love your pic of you and Mr Bod. This is a beautiful pattern hat! I'm in the middle of one of your other hats right now for my son, can't remember the name of it. It's horizontal lines on one side, vertical on the other. Im making it in a shades of brown. Im using the Big Twist Supernova in Terraforming. Beautiful soft yarn. Just a touch of wool, but soft. I bought a bunch of the other colors of the Supernova and it works really well with your hat patterns. Beautiful color pooling. You have so many beautiful hat patterns it is really hard to choose. A very good problem to have. Thank you for all you share and help with. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Beautiful design! Have put my current project aside to do this beanie, perfect little weekend side-project. First frost here in Gent, Belgium, seems appropriate 😅. And.... found a yarn in my stash. Whoohoo -1 (guess i'll have replenish my stock 😇😁
Love this beanie ! I will be making a lot of these. I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! Eat lots of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and pie of course. 😀😊 🦃
Hi crystal, I’m so excited to make this beautiful hat. My question to you is on round 10 when you made your first BPHDC did you go behind the slip stitch and the the first HDC from the previous row? That’s what it looked like to me so I just want to make sure? Thank you so much🌺
Thank you for this video, my question is if I start with only 10 dc and follow instructions which seems to have less stitches. Does this makes the hat smaller for a person whose head is smaller? Or should I use a smaller hook and follow instructions as shown in video? Please please help. Thank you.
what a lovely pattern thank you so much for sharing. Different throughout which makes it interesting to crochet and love the way you increase with FDC sts, never seen this before
Loved the intro pic with you and your hubby wearing matching toques.
