    I watched this video then took a deep dive on who Andy Anderson is and I just have to say WOW. this guy is the spirit of skateboarding. Combining all the greatest things about the roots of skateboarding with modern interpretation and terrain. He is so humble and only sees himself as a student at this point in time... Some day I think he will be looked at as a legend of modern skateboarding. He should be the face of skateboarding for the next generation.

    Kneepads brother...They'll help up your confidence knowing you can knee slide out of a bale..Instead of trying to run out of a bale. When you know you have to run it out you have to prepare earlier therefore making you bail earlier which makes you more nervous and get out of something in the air quicker...Get comfortable knee sliding and your vert confidence will skyrocket..If you ever get hung up you can slide out of that too

    • @MarcJensan
      @MarcJensan 4 года назад

      @HoldingUpTheBar I would say that it is his reticular activating system (RAS) that is at play here. For example if you are wearing a white shirt, you might notice more people wearing white shirts or if you work in a shoe shop of a specific brand you might start noticing people wearing them more. the RAS is responsible for your awakeness and having a white shirt on might prompt you to notice that more.

    Here's why I think the bonk is important. In her best slow-mo it looks like the bonk pushes the board into the back foot, and that foot does a little bit of a scoop at the same time the front foot starts pushing down on the front of the board. The rotation comes from back foot scooping up and front foot pushing down (up/down relative to floor here). Once board rotation is established, front foot pressure eases off so that the nose doesn't keep moving toward the lip.

    I think Andy likes her. In fact that's My new trick, and I got this. He definitely likes her. And let's be real, what's not to like here. Nicole you are something else. Talented, very calm and secure and yet super confident all at the same time. Those qualities are very appealing in a person, no matter who or what you do. And it shows! You are both incredible ambassadors of our sport. Keep well and please keep on progressing!

    All those years of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater make it look so simple, and yet it terrifies a great skater like Andy. Pretty sick seeing Andy overcome that. Great duo those two are. Hope to see more of both Andy and Nicole in the future.
