"Can you do some with me?" was the most wholesome question ever Andy's a great student and Nicole is a great teacher. The supportive dynamic is too good🤣
@@gregkis Different trick, in the video you talk about he pops off the nose. that's a nollie bs 180 and its a little easier cause you bonk off the wheel near the coping
I watched this video then took a deep dive on who Andy Anderson is and I just have to say WOW. this guy is the spirit of skateboarding. Combining all the greatest things about the roots of skateboarding with modern interpretation and terrain. He is so humble and only sees himself as a student at this point in time... Some day I think he will be looked at as a legend of modern skateboarding. He should be the face of skateboarding for the next generation.
Cameron Pfister really shows why he’s so good. He’s patient and humble as fuck. He wasn’t afraid to admit the Olympian was better than him and just wanted to learn. Awesome
I love to see Andy try something new. A skater of his caliber seems so good that I forget that they are they good because of the time and the commitment. Love to see him working on new stuff and staying hungry. Thanks Braille for showing us that we are all human and letting us see the wizard work on his stuff!
Kneepads brother...They'll help up your confidence knowing you can knee slide out of a bale..Instead of trying to run out of a bale. When you know you have to run it out you have to prepare earlier therefore making you bail earlier which makes you more nervous and get out of something in the air quicker...Get comfortable knee sliding and your vert confidence will skyrocket..If you ever get hung up you can slide out of that too
He literally said in an interview "I can't skate with kneepads" I'm not really sure what he meant by that but I'm taking it as he can't skate with them on. Lol
@@Scott-eo7lj I think he rather means he can't because he is not used to them. And he is not wrong. It takes some time to get used to them but they would help him in this case. But I also think he knows that, too, and makes a conscious decision not to use them because of that. :) either way he is awesome, this is not meant as a criticism in a bad way or something:)
Loving the Andy Anderson content!! Watching his creativity got me to start skating again after 2 years. And I was even inspired to start wearing a helmet after 4 years of never touching one. Really inspirational guy.
The smile on Andys face at 10:12 is what skateboarding is all about. So happy to watch him learn new tricks. Much love to the guys at Braille Skateboarding.
Dude! I just been getting into pendulums and all week they keep popping up!! I believe in coincidence is universe language, telling you you're on the right track. IDK it's trippy ✌🏽
@HoldingUpTheBar I would say that it is his reticular activating system (RAS) that is at play here. For example if you are wearing a white shirt, you might notice more people wearing white shirts or if you work in a shoe shop of a specific brand you might start noticing people wearing them more. the RAS is responsible for your awakeness and having a white shirt on might prompt you to notice that more.
As a non-skater myself but having watched Braille's content for years now, I find this trick very weird. Looks super-easy, but then I see how the god Andy is struggling so much to even have a "baby" one while Nicole is making it look so clean and high, it blows my mind. That's the beauty of skateboard, there's always room for improvement.
I really love the passion that Andy shows us as well as the fact that he makes it easy to follow his thoughts by explaining what he’s attempting first to then build up on it step by step. Really, man, amazing!
It’s nuts how not flashy this trick looks for how difficult and scary that (I can only imagine) it actually is, it looks like it takes a lot of control.
I like how he didn't do that until he landed the trick. It was him showing respect 👍 then when he landed one confidently, he celebrated with a victory run 😎 andy is a class act 👏 a true champion.
Bs airs look so sick! I like the tip where she explains it’s like a weightless feeling where you let your wheels hit the coping similar to a bonk gotta try that.
Makes me feel a little better about learning tricks by seeing someone on this level have to work at it over and over again. Funny thing about skateboarding is that a trick is scary and nearly impossible to land until its not. Great work Andy now its time for me to get my 50/50's down. Sk8ing is great, I'm stoked!
This is fantastic! Watching his emotions and people hyping him up and shes a great teacher. Felt like I was there cheering him on. Nigel has it too. Solid video.

"would you do some with me? Help me believe that it is possible".. The humbleness and will to learn from anybody despite all the praise andy have from everyone.. Wow.. Thats what is like about andy..
Here's why I think the bonk is important. In her best slow-mo it looks like the bonk pushes the board into the back foot, and that foot does a little bit of a scoop at the same time the front foot starts pushing down on the front of the board. The rotation comes from back foot scooping up and front foot pushing down (up/down relative to floor here). Once board rotation is established, front foot pressure eases off so that the nose doesn't keep moving toward the lip.

She’s super cool. Crazy watching Andy learn instead of teach.
He probably ended up teaching her a thing or two if you know what I'm talking about
I doubt she told him anything he didn’t know he’s 100x better than her. Backside Ollies are only about commitment
