    Ah yes, the british museum pack. It's a lot more fun if you follow the aspirations and try to excavate the piles of dirt, and get the different relics. You can get special relics with magical powers, golden treasures, it can be pretty fun. If you play again I'd recommend you stock up better on supplies, there's something called "waterfall in a bottle" that fills their hygiene need, or take a portable shower from the camping pack with you. If you stock up properly you can do the whole thing without going back to the house, and without having your sims constantly suffering lol

    I love Jungle Adventure! It's not my favorite pack (Growing Together and Island Living are my favs) but I love taking my single or couple sims exploring in the jungle, the puzzles are less repetitive if you have high archaeology skill but adventuring in the jungle is such a fun experience for me. Plus I love having my sims propose by that romantic waterfall and swimming in the fountains.

Then there's all the updates (infants, milestones, and fears) which gave me so much more to play with my families. By far my favorite feature was the keepsake boxes and family reunions. ALL of my families have family reunions (idc how buggy it is lol).

    I love this pack, I am playing through the packs and I lived on and off in the jungle in a tent for several weeks while I finished the two collections. I love that the temple is semi randomised so it doesn't feel really repetitive, plus the puzzle doors.
    You have to pack a lot of supplies, even machetes are consumables! The stories, recipes and the dance are also highlights. Learning the local cultural skill has a lot of benefits, like special items to purchase, eg machetes. Pity you didn't buy a tent, you can sleep in the temple. Very fun pack.

    Bought Jungle Adventure, literally have never used it. In your grilled cheese video you mentioned doing some of the known "tasks,adventures", that you knew about but just hadn't done. That's where I am. Recently, I've been hopping from house to house playing different households which is amazing. Bella Goth lost both husband's so I just got her a wife and I'm hoping the next time I play with her, there won't be 3 gravestones in the backyard 😂. I bought the high school expansion pack, and have literally never played it. No classes, no cafeteria,no lockers, no prom. Nothing. 😅
    Ironically, you said you like to play with a family, I'm the complete opposite. I can handle maybe 2 sims at a time. Glad to see you growing everyday my friend! 🖤

      two sims could be a single mom or dad and a kid. 2 is a family. Also teens can live alone so you could do a teen raising their sibling. I’ve done that before. If you want to explore the kid/teen focused packs there are possibilities with no more than two.

  • @7mariepierre
    @7mariepierre 9 месяцев назад +7

    I like to do it once in a while. I choose to make a sim, have him be super high in logic and many other skills (logic will help you solve things without getting the negative mood buffs) and I send my sim go get rich by his findings. I also buy a load of camping gears, a bbq, now could also be a lunch box and practically camp there until I’m done with everything.
    I don’t do it each time, but I do it once in a while and like it.

    I used to love exploring the tombs in sims 3 world adventures, it was one of my favorites. I've had Jungle adventures for a while now and have yet to explore the jungle. There is just so many things to do in sims 4 that I didn't know you could do, so I'm having lots of fun exploring everything. I have been to the jungle and have explored a little but I guess I didn't know there was an end 😂 so my vacation ended and I left and forgot to go back lol. But I do want to do this one and the strangerville one and finish the batuu one cuz I never finished that one

    imo, Jungle Adventure sucks so much in comparison to the Sims 3 World Adventures. There were so much stuff to do, whole new three worlds, a career, a couple of skills, actual puzzles to solve, story-based quests, lots of active gameplay. I revisited it recently and had lots of fun! Jungle Adventure to me is mostly about reading text and sometimes sending my sims spend a honeymoon

    You could have stayed the night in the jungle because you bought the tent. I think you should do a redo but bring a child or toddler with you...maybe an infant? That will give extra challenge. There's an archaeology table that you can examine artifacts on. I do have this pack but quite honestly, I bought it for build/buy mode. You have inspired me to play with the pack. Thank you for that! Maybe I will do a Rags to Riches where I start out in the jungle and I have to earn my way and completing the aspiration and have a campsite located in the first area as my home - (that would be my "riches")

    I’m so glad you made this video as I just bought this pack during the sale. I mean I thought it was pretty fun exploring and learning new skills. However, it is nothing like Sims 3 World Adventures and pretty limited as far as gameplay goes. It was disappointing in that regard (although Sims 4 in comparison to 3 is disappointing in it of itself) but it was nice to vacation to a different world.

    100% agree with you, jungle exploring does NOT lend itself to families. I took a family of 6 there and two out of my four children drowned while the parents were exploring the temple! It was on the bottom level of the temple where you have to swim to access certain things

    I really loved Jungle Adventure. To be fair occult gameplay is my go-to. I never finished, but I had fun playing as an archeologist, uncovering artifacts and getting a few of the totems. I also did some research beforehand, so I knew what skills were needed (a little less trial and error with the traps). I also cheated to make sure I had plenty of supplies to get through the jungle.
