Ok, hear me out: Landlord has a six unit property and only rents to young women. He romances all of them and convinces them to join his polygamist commune. Makes them dress alike. Continually impregnates them all until he has 7 kids with each of them, but doesn't have to care for or pay for any of them - in fact, their moms pay HIM rent! This is what you get when you combine For Rent with a holiday spent binging True Crime videos. PS Love your videos!
There are consequences since you can in fact get kicked out of the apartment. They wouldn't throw you any empty threat like that. I think it's just the fact that she didn't even get the game enough time to even kick her out.
You can definitely get evicted. It’s happened to my sim before. I think if you had answered the door and spoken to him during the second or third time he came banging it would’ve happened. Or maybe it just takes a bit of time.
I think Wayne was just in shock and awe with the speed and efficacy Laura broke each and every rule: He'd be silly to wait until rent day as if she'd pay in a timely manner. Greatly entertaining video as always ♥
DrGluon managed to get evicted, so I know it's possible, but I'm sure it's just because you need to do a specific interaction/pathway for it to happen, like talking to the landlord when he's knocking at your door, which... is a bit of a shame, be cooler if there were more ways for it to happen. I know landlords can send you your fines as mail, wonder if that can happen with eviction notices too? Lovely experiment as always!
I'm shocked ... didn't think it was possible. Did the Sim just get knocked back to the manage worlds screen as homeless? Since you can't exist in the game without a home lot.

Even though it's a simulation game, the "No Pets" rule being broken in this video is so satisfying to me. Because irl many landlords make it hell for families with pets to find housing, and as a result some of the animals end up in shelters.

@@hollyhartwick3832 Ah, that makes sense -thank you! I'm pleased it's implemented in that way! So presumably the deposit, or move-in cost, increases if the gear in the apartment is worth more?
@@JadeDabrowski - Mhm. Exactly. The ones I made, for example, were 22,000. A new Sim with starter money couldn't even afford to move in without cheats. If you move in a household from Manage Households, you can see the unit value. That and first month's rent is paid on move-in.

Idea based on a reddit post, or at least I heard it online somewhere: Have two sims that break up, with the one breaking it off living in an apartment. The other sim begins to date the landlord with intent to get revenge on their ex by intentionally upping the rent (obviously with notice). Again, I don't know where this was posted, but I'm sure it was reddit. It does make for an interesting revenge plot for the sims though. 🙃
Hey Brit here's an idea what if you get a sim kicked out and then have them start dating there old landlord and move back in and then break the rules again to see if you get evicted and if you do are you still living with your landlord aka partner?
I don't know if you do the cheats or not but it'd be funny to see a man have baby's with multiple women but change the appearance through the cheat with each one. Lol. Love your videos you're perfect in doing these they're hilarious. And I mean the man change his appearance each time. :)
Hi there I have a question you see I’m an about to play the sims 4 for the first time I was wondering if will I enjoy the game without packs🤔 and just use CCs And Mods? I would like to buy some packs but I can’t afford any 😔 everyone just doesn’t understand that not everyone can buy packs even if they are on sale I just can’t buy any😪 I need a little advice please or I might just not play the game
You can definitely have fun without packs, especially if you’re someone who loves creating storylines. Challenges in particular are a great start if you don’t have an idea of what you want to do in game. Also My first pet stuff is free (on PC/MAC only) alongside Romantic Garden stuff (all platforms) so claim those soon!

I thought everyone knew, it doesn't matter if you don't have enough money. Landlords can do the repo man thing and repossess your belongings.
How does this work if the apartment was furnished by the landlord though? Do they just repossess their own stuff?
@@JadeDabrowski - The tenant buys the furniture, so it becomes theirs. That's why there's a high move-in cost.

Yeah it’s still pretty fun. Without the packs! But if you want pets a stuff or mermaids you have to have packs unless you have specific CC packs!
