VW Golf 7 steering wheel buttons removal trim

Hi, I want to ask you something, I have to disassemble the two blocks and replace them because a led bulb of the buttons has burned, in vw they tell me that I have to change everything at an exaggerated cost... I try to do it by myself by buying the pieces on aliexpress ...... the wiring of the two components ... is welded on the circuits or there are the connecters that you can easily detach them and mount only one ??? Thank you

I love watching your home made videos! It's a little hard to remove trim. I have same steering wheel and i want to try to put the SET and RES button + BC controls to the steering wheel buttons... Of course with some improvisations. Passat b5.5
