Out of all the changes they did,one i absolutely love...
The walljump has been changed back to the one in the january build,where peppino would walljump slowly but when he landed whatever speed he had would be kept.

i just found out mr.crabapples is the creator of this mod, i knew about him because of his cancelled pizza tower level editor “pizza tower maker”
I'm guessing he cancelled it due to CYOP and AFOM doing it better?

Well to be fair this mod has redone tutorial and added a custom boss fight, one of the few mods to even do that.
@@godofwar4687 the tutorial use beta tiles from sage (or any other build)
This is only interesting because one of the first custom bosses that aren't a reskin with custom sprites only, 6/10
@@Elquenoseconectacasinunca I can understand why the tutorial isn’t that interesting since well it’s a tutorial. Still even if the mod doesn’t have much things in it right now it still has some interesting ideas like the heatmeter idea or some changes to Peppinos moveset. Plus the additions of the redone titlecards and new songs or redone songs which are good in my opinion and even better than some of the base game songs.
Lack of originality so they grab as much features as possibie from old builds so they can theorically become as big as mods like Scoutdigo

Slop is usually a synonym for "bad". I.e. "This feature is just pure slop" (The feature is really bad)

As much as I want to see this mod succeed, it middles that ground between the mod being both good and bad somehow. There’s so much unnecessary stuff that feels like content bloat, like the new rooms in pizzascape. Ive seen people call this stuffed crust 2 for making so many unnecessary changes for no reason and Im honestly inclined to agree.

Why do they use old builds to make mods?

Some day there will be a pizza tower mod or fangame that isnt either bad on purpose or crams back in cut features that were cut for a reason ( the heat meter sucks actually lol)
I don't mean to sound like that guy, but me and a couple others are working on the next major version of Scoutdigo Community Edition, and I've heard quite a few people are excited to try it out!

Honestly, the way they implemented heat meter here compared to most other mods is actually pretty creative.
Rather than raising enemy difficulty at higher stages, the meter acts as a score modifier as usual, as well as a power-up gauge. Allowing Peppino, (and the Noise) to gain a more powerful moveset, while also buffing certain aspects here and there.
For example, in this mod, Peppino's base wall climb seems to have been adjusted to make going up from a stand still next to a wall much harder compared to the vanilla game. He starts at a slower speed, and has much less acceleration. Empower him with the heat meter however, and he'll have a much easier time with acceleration overall.
I believe they actually removed Noise's infinite flight in this mod. But from what's seen in the trailer, he gains ACTUAL flight during heat meter form. (I haven't got to playing it just yet. I'll update this comment later after playing myself)

What the fuck are they doing to the Camera? And i hate the movement, at this point it feels like every pizza tower mod that isn't an addon to the main game is garbage. Also, why try to replicate the sage demo controls??? From my knowledge, they seem pretty bad.
