I don’t get why people say this is slop. It looks fine enough, the title cards are an AMAZING step up, the new escape themes are catchy, the camera is dynamic, the background is layered better to make it look more 3D, and THERES A CUSTOM BOSS!! How is this not at least A-Tier!?
So I played the mod for myself and I thought it was fun. I like some of the unique changes to Peppino and Noise, the slight changes to the stages, and the fact that they added an actual cheese dragon fight. I also like the adrenaline rush/super form gimmick and how it is tied to your heat meter similar to how Sonic’s super form works. I do have one problem with this mod though. I feel like they tweaked Peppino and the Noise’s moveset a bit too much. Especially the Noise, he doesn’t feel as smooth as he is in the official game. So hopefully as they continue on with this mod, they give you the option to turn this stuff off, similar to how you can actually turn the shaky camera off in the options.( also a secret bonus that allows you to use the super forms infinitely would be cool too, they are really cool)( I also like how they take advantage of some older animations and the Noise’s opening animation for the cheese dragon boss and how he realized he probably shouldn’t rely on his bombs)(Peppino’s tweaked super jump is kind of weird though and so is the Noise’s super jump cancel)

It's very cool to see the Cheese Dragon, originally intended to be the first boss way back in the earlier demos and played completely differently then, reimagined into a full-on boss fight here. This is a very well-made mod so far.
