At the Sanctuary of our church this morning, the Tabernacle was open and empty, the perpetual candle was snuffed out! I was alone in that space; the Sorrowful Mysteries I said felt as if I was in a trance, then as I stood (still alone) I read a booklet and followed through every Stations of the Cross around the walls, feeling the weight on my sins, making it hard to stand. Since I returned home, I've not stopped weeping, yet I realize it is God who has asked me to share in Christs burden for the love of mankind. May God bless us still!!!!!
All children of God need to meditate on this day...Stop and Be Still 🙏
Thank you so much Father Dave, I am going to marry my fiancee on Easter Monday. With so much anxiety and organising going on at the moment, I needed to hear this. To just stop and contemplate the Lord and what he accomplished for me. God bless you too.

Thank you, Father. Dealing with so much death. Three funerals last week with two more on the horizon and cancer attacking friends all over. And he is present and understands. Praised be Jesus Christ now and forever.

Jesus Christ is Risen ☝️🙏
This lenten season, Isaiah 53 has been placed in front of me several times. All of us should ponder this superhuman act of suffering, and why the Christ means so much to so many.
But not until you take the time to truly understand the song of the Suffering Servant, and how the son of man's path was forever ordained by God, by the Prophets, and all the Angels and Saints, will it all click in to place.
This is part of the mystery of faith, to my untrained eyes.
I'll probably forget this impact in a few weeks, just in time for Pentecost with the Holy Spirit.
