I think when he says “the other me” I think he means his inner dialogue. Which I recently was surprised to learn not everyone has. But I think he had his own thought about keeping your loved one’s spirit in your heart. He is such an emotionally intelligent kid.

Having conversations with your children is so important! I never talked much "baby" talk with him. I had real conversations and when he was tested in the 5th grade. His vocabulary was at a freshman level. People would compliment me on his ability to relate to adults and have discussions about many topics. He is 43, and his kids are the same way. Conversations with kids at any age are so important.
Cooper is so adorable. You can tell that his brain is thinking all the time. My son was similar to that and he grew up to be a financial analyst. He's got analyst in his soul! I love that he has an imaginary friend.

Yeah. Imaginary friends are a huge thing when they are toddlers. My little sister has two imaginary friends named “Tico” and “Vodka”. She is four, and she has had them since she was like 1-2. She is alwayssss talking about Tico. But he is 16, and very rude. She says sometimes things like, “tico is hitting me”

@@LindaC616 in Montana there’s no degree necessary but you can be a LVT fairly easily, if your state requires that try to just get your foot in the door and be reception and work your way up. I left due to management/pay/schedule. I miss all the animals and people but they also have a really hard job too, certain things haunt me at night. I’m in human dentistry now if that helps

I just want to let you know that I sent like one video of yours to my dad and he's absolutely obsessed with Cooper. He loves him so much he tells me about the videos that I've seen years ago when they were initially uploaded and I have to go back and watch them because I've forgotten, Cooper bring such a smile to his face and that makes me really happy so keep up the good parenting of this goofy kid. He lost his mind at the caterpillar video 😂
When I was Cooper’s age, my internal monologue would mostly just tell me stories and animate them, or play dramatic music while I was playing tag with friends. It wasn’t really until seventh grade when I started using it for making plans and thinking and stressing. I just realized that that’s probably the norm for internal monologues. I wish I could just go back to the good old days when my inner dialogue was just a radio 😂

My inner dialogue put me in a story for awhile, It was a little game I'd play with myself every now and again (only child, you gotta keep yourself entertained.) I would go through at the end of the day (or every couple days) and say "The end!" Then the book would "restart" into the next book in the series. I remember running up and hugging my dad and saying that He was really confused and tried to ask me about it but I avoided the question, I don't think he ever found out what was going through my head Seeing as Cooper is also an only child I wouldn't be surprised if he had something similar 😆
I am very disappointed that we didn't get a video of Cooper naming the cat Earth Taco. I am just going to absolutely assume that he came up with that name because, lets be real, who else would?
