    It wasn't long ago that I only associated Fifine with RGB gamer mics. This is really impressive.

    Funny enough I didn't crack and pick up the 669C or 669D, but I did get their new Ampligame SC3 Mixer. Around $40-50. Let's see what we're getting at that range that can help broadcasters have a more accessible interface than the GoXLR.

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE Год назад

      Thank you very much for the support. Hope it didn't let you down too much, since it's quite far from the level and the performance of the GoXLR, what it aims at is the Behringer UM2. And that interface should be a decent one to get started with and what SC3 does is add a bit more spice to the look and the function.

    LOL... "Muddled" works for me. As done this mic. Great sound for $$$... or should I say.... Great sound for $. I believe your review was spot on. Personally I prefer the tone from the FiFIne K669D. That being said the K669C is NO slouch. If a bit of sizzle on the top end is what you prefer , the K669C is for you... If not, the K669D is there in all its dynamic glory... at this price point they are both winners. The way I see it.... if FiFine massaged their tonal profiles on their mics just a bit and lowered the noise floor, reduced the handling noise, included some really decent quality isolation style mounts, threw in a quality windscreen for plosive rejection and then stuffed all that goodness into a nice fitted storage case, they could charge a bit more and still dominate the completion. If they brought all that to market at let's say around $80-$90 range.... It would almost be unfair..... almost. They would start gaining ground with all the new gamer channels just starting out and soon catch on with the podcasters. Next thing you know they would be the "best kept secret weapon in audio" all the while gaining ground on the major players. THEN they would catch on. If I were ANY other microphone company I would run SCARED... REAL SCARED.... but then again, maybe that is just me. Thanks Bark for searching out and sharing all the audio goodness.

      @ObscureMics  Год назад

      Thats a nice combo for a budget setup!

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE Год назад

      Um, tbh, we don't highly recommend this combo. For recording, the 16-bit and 48K Hz may not be sufficient for demanding audio quality, while for gaming, a condenser mic doesn't do a really good job at background rejection. Taking the AM8 for gaming while the K688 for recording could be a better move. Then choosing the audio interface when you really need to up the audio game.

    I've been waiting to hear this thing since it came out with the d. Not a unicorn imo but like always with fifine it punches pretty well above its price class especially with the build in mind (I got the k669d and it's the best feeling mic I own). It doesn't quite make me want to run out and get one immediately but that could be my bias toward dynamic.

    When a mic's 'name' starts off with a decent product like Fifine did and doesn't screw up by selling junk, then just go by a different name, there's respect do. Look how great RODE of Australia is doing now by constantly improving their product. A mic will last a lifetime treated right, considering there's quality in the build. Never forget your buying something you may in the future be selling and a good name brand will bring in the bucks.

      That's true! And thank you very much for the kind words! Because of the content creators, just like Bark and all the customers and viewers who like to give feedback on the product, we can get our own way right. Otherwise, we may also sell things that may look profitable but actually hurt the brand name.

      Haha, thank you very much for keeping your eyes on us for this long. Actually, we built one of our best USB mics K669B back then mainly for those who just started recording, but then LTT spotted this model and recommend it for gaming. That's how everything started, and we also go crazy in the gaming field. But later last year, we go back into the recording world with a more dedicated mic K688 for that purpose.

      It depends. If you have some microphone knowledge and your use situation allows you to always use a mic with an interface, basically that means you will not use it outdoors, then the K669C or the dynamic K669D with a proper mixer is better for you. But if the convenience and portability mean a lot more to you, it also won't go wrong with the XLR/USB K688.
