POR FAVOR AMIGO, la unica duda que tengo es sobre tu barra de sonido, si lo has conectado desde tu extractor al HDMI 2.0 ó 2.1 de tú barra o lo has conectado al eARC de la barra de sonido.
Hi Peter I'm pleased I found this. As im a noob im trying to understand how this gadget works. I'm a pc gamer trying to get true 5.1 which I do but lost my monitor hrtz from 165 to 140 hrtz so less fps. My setup is Monitor display to gpu then hdmi from pc to avr. Can I bypass my gpu and use this gadget instead. Hope this helps and makes sense. Great review
connect pc directly to tv to avoid lag and get maximum fps and performance and use earc from tv to receiver or use a secondary hdmi cable from pc to receiver use it as a phantom moniter option
Hi peter, really a good product this i can use also in my console player.. But 1 thing to ask as im really not familiar with arc/earc, is BK 929 will work in my soundbar that only have arc and no earc? Thanks
Hi Peter - thx for this and your timing is impeccable 😊. I have a gaming PC and Sonos Beam G1 in my study and have been looking for a way to watch movies and game using my Beam. This looks like it would allow me to output the video from my Pc to my LG 32” screen and the audio to my Beam correct?
I have soundbar connected with tv, and tv with pc, atmos works, but every time it reset settings to default, have to switch it every time in windows sound settings to atmos...
I have hda929 orei, my pc is connected to tv, after fixing orei i always loose sound in my bose ultra smart soundbar whenever i turned tv off then on. I have to restard all connection get the sound back, most i have to redo several times. Hope you help
Hi Peter I unable to get Dolby Atmos on my Sono app while plugging the bk 929 device. What I get is only Dolby Digital 5.1. However when I direct plug the cable to my tv, I will get DD+. Moreover my Apple TV at the format page doesn’t detect immersive audio Dolby Atmos. Any advise? Appreciate your help.
Is it hopeless to even try to run Atmos from a Windows PC? It's so wonky.. once Atmos cuts out, it basically only works once I reinstall windows and everything else all over again. On internet forums I see this has been an issue seemingly since we had the option to run Atmos from a PC ARC/eARC tv to an Atmos arc/eARC receiver
@Subfightr Hi, have you bought & tried this? I am also looking for a very long time. As per Peter Pee netflix detects & outputs dolby atmos on Orei HDA-935 (2022 model) which is only HDMI 2.0 & HDCP 2.2. I am looking for 2.1 & 2.3 8K considering future usage. This product got good specs, but if it doesn't work for PC, being undetected by netflix, it's useless. You got any ideas? Can I connect DP to Monitor, GPU HDMI to Audio Extractor IN, Audio Extractor eARC OUT to Soundbar, will this work without connecting display from extractor? I want one port of GPU to produce display & other to send audio through extractor.
@@mjr8527 @mjr8527 no I have not used this. I don't believe this is going to solve our issues. This appears to be a Windows problem. What I had done to fix it was this "1. Win10 Control Panel -> Apps -> Dolby Access 2. Reset App 3. Uninstall App 4. Start -> Power -> Restart (reboot) 5. Wait for reboot, login 6. Right click on sound/speaker icon in lower right corner 7. This will cause the windows store to pop up on the Dolby Access app item. 10. Click "Install" to install the Dolby Access app 11. Windows will download it and install it. 12. After install, it will say something like "To enable Dolby Atmos a reboot is required" 13. Reboot the system 14. Wait for reboot, login 15. Right click on sound/speaker icon in lower right corner 16. So with this gadget i Will have atmos in my pc with monitor? I dont have 2.1 HDMI ports,my graphic its 2.0 and monitor 1.4 I use display port with monitor ....not the hdmi
RUclips only supports stereo, no Dolby Digital or Atmos. Nothing to do with Windows. I have an Intel NUC I use as HTPC and it plays sounds perfectly when using Windows.
Agreed. I’ve always had issues with Dolby Atmos on my PC even when moving around windows on the desktop. Sound just cuts out. I’ve also got no audio like what Pete showed in the video at random. On my Beam G2, I stopped using Atmos.
It is working great for me. But as stated below, youtube does not support Atmos, only Stereo. But Nextlix via Edge or the App will support it if the content does, same with games and other video apps. But you do need a graphics card that supports earc. Most modern cards do.
Me too. I'm using 4090 into a LG C2 TV which supports eARC. I even split the video and audio using the 4090 HDMI to the onkyo eARC supporting receiver and video to the TV via the 4090 video only "displayport". Atmos and other sound options did work properly for about a week... Then .. 2.0 audio only no matter what. The Dolby home theater PC app no longer sees home theater mode as option. I see this has been an issue for SEVERAL years. Have you an solutions to this?
@@Subfightr Have you tried different hdmi cables? I have similar setup but I do get Atmos. Just make sure in your audio settings you choose it. Spatial should be set to Dolby Atmos for Home Theater in the options. You will only see this available when that sound option is either a primary, or extended monitor. Also not a lot of content that actually supports Atmos. Netflix does with Edge. Some Games do. Some apps like Disney+, AppleTV etc do not. Which is so lame
hi sir can you advise if this will work with only my “mi laser projector 150” please? mine is the older white model and i only can get 5.1 on netflix and stereopcm on disney+
Should work fine - you just have your source going into the OREI box, the sound eARC out to your Atmos soundbar, and the eARC output to your projector. The setup I have on my older 4K TV with no eARC is Chromecast 4K to the OREI box, and ORIE box to a Beam gen 2, and OREI box to the TV - after a couple of hiccups early on, it now works perfectly (main thing was I found I had t o go into the Chromecast menus and force it to always allow Atmos)
I just returned mine. it would buffer like H*LL when streaming from my Plex server. When plugged directly without the OREI, all the buffering went away. I was trying this product to see if the audio stutter would go away when playing TrueHD files but it didn't work as expected.

What about Sky ?
all this could be avoided if the soundbar companies can provide HDMI in and Out ports
Arc has one of the worst center ch on premium priced unit. Embarrassing
