My Huskies would like to add a few points. 1. Always make sure the local wildlife knows who's boss 2. Constantly remind the humans that you are magic and can smell fear and stare into souls. 3. Don't forget to make sure that sirens know you are louder.
My apartment complex changed our pet policy last October. They forbid any bully breeds incl. Pitbulls, GSDs, Shiba Inu's and Huskies, etc. yet I see Huskies on the property (I think they make exceptions for mixes). But I still didn't have the courage or fortitude to adopt or buy one. I love free spirits but I still want a roof over my head. Huskies rule!
Have you or whoever is running it tried correcting the vacuum? Making sure your husky knows you or whoever is running it is in charge? That the dog won't have to defend that person or themselves from it? Our dog still dislikes the vacuum and keeps an eye on it, but was clearly focused on defending her people from the monster. She still pays more attention when certain people are running it.

Find one in a shelter, people got them because of GOT and dumped them when they discovered how high maintanance and loud they are. The same with Chi's after Paris kept one in her bag and other "fashion " trends unfortunately..They are awsome..
They are very high maintenance, high energy, stubborn af, and super smart. If you find this charming instead of exasperating, a husky might be right for you. Check shelters and rescues first. Sadly, a lot of untrained staff see a husky and think wolf, which puts them at high risk for euthanasia. My husky is my one family member that I love unconditionally.💙

I wouldn't randomly suggest to someone I don't know that it's a good idea (for the sake of the dog). Not everyone can handle a dog like that (or has the type of place to live that will work) or can afford to make big life decisions based on a dog in order to keep it indefinitely. It's not the right dog for everyone. Of course they might regret it, and the one who will pay for that poor thought out choice is the abandoned dog.

Yeah my cousins let their dog be with his parents during worktime and the dog would just be with my uncle and not really want to go home. My aunt was there, probably feeding him and always along on the long walks but dogs have this thing about the dominant male and my cousin was obviously not as in charge as his dad, haha Cats are not like that, they just want the mama, haha
Mrs. Dad, we need to start a support group. So many Mrs. dads walk, feed, buy food and toys, wash, brush. Etc the dog. But who gets the cuddles, adoration and attention? Yeah, it’s not US!

I want to just say from one rescue mom to another, teaching a broken down dog how to be a "dog" in a world they are already scared of. You are doing amazing, and thank you for dedication and hard work it takes to train a fearful reactive dog always seeking to retreat and hide. When they show their personality and achievements it's the greatest gift. Levi was lucky to have you as i know you feel lucky to have him❤
