Five years after that I met somebody special and we got married, this July will be our 22 wedding anniversary. It's funny how I forgot that until I saw this episode, I don't know what the hell I was thinking. Thank God I didn't shoot that boy I probably would still be in jail today. THANK YOU JESUS!

The main issue is where a person's attention is focused. If a woman focuses her attention constantly or mostly on the man, despite the other things she is doing in her life, e.g. stalking him on social media, she will be 'hung up' on him and he will notice that. Men are attracted to confident, relatively independent women. As a christian I focus upon my Heavenly Father and all other things come to me, not the other way round.

I mean, if you don't have rock solid self-esteem, it's real easy to turn crazy cuz guys will say some off the wall stuff to you that will mess up your mind. I had this male acquaintance in college...he was not a student but older and we both knew someone in the administration so we got introduced. He used to always bother me and try to ask me out and I simply had no interest. At one point he told me that I should go ahead and date him because I was crazy and so I could never do better than him. Like, he actually said this to me in an effort to get me to go out with him!! I guess he figured one day I might just give up and settle for him?? But anyway, that struck me to my core because I didn't have the self-esteem to understand how ridiculous that was for him to say. I wondered if he was right and whether I was one of those "crazy" girls we are all afraid to be. I just think it's quite easy to fall into a cycle of doubt and low self-esteem if you don't have a strong foundation in your self-worth and usually "crazy" behavior is just a manifestation of these insecurities.

Whether it was arguing, me catching him in the act of flirting with other people, or me on the verge of leaving him, he would make up these sob stories in order to get me to stay. He lied about living in a household where he was abused and mistreated, lied about being adopted, lied about being in the hospital every week, and even lied about the flirtatious messages I would find between him and other people (he always said that he allowed his cousin to have access to his socal media, and that it was his cousin flirting with all those people). I mean, if you don't have rock solid self-esteem, it's real easy to turn crazy cuz guys will say some off the wall stuff to you that will mess up your mind. I had this male acquaintance in college...he was not a student but older and we both knew someone in the administration so we got introduced. He used to always bother me and try to ask me out and I simply had no interest.
At one point he told me that I should go ahead and date him because I was crazy and so I could never do better than him. Like, he actually said this to me in an effort to get me to go out with him!! I guess he figured one day I might just give up and settle for him?? But anyway, that struck me to my core because I didn't have the self-esteem to understand how ridiculous that was for him to say. I wondered if he was right and whether I was one of those "crazy" girls we are all afraid to be.
I just think it's quite easy to fall into a cycle of doubt and low self-esteem if you don't have a strong foundation in your self-worth and usually "crazy" behavior is just a manifestation of these insecurities.

When i was in high school a guy I started dating moved onto my friend in a week and I could not understand why. To my friends and the world I was..cool, nonchalant, and even happy for them. Still talked to her and him. I even continued to be her confidante. But deep inside it drove me crazy! We could not have been more different. I was going through different scenarios of how I could phrase my questioning nonchalantly to understand at what point, when, what she did, what I did, what he liked about her, what he had liked about me, when the change happened and just whhhhhyyyyyyyyyy. Thank God above I never did. To this day only I and my best friend that I ranted to and still do to this day know how crazy that situation drove me.loool

I don't think I've ever done anything crazy out of a love. I'm too prideful and mellow to act out of character lol; however, I have been on the receiving end before. It completely turned me off.
***** Well, I was pretty much in a relationship with a pathological liar. Whether it was arguing, me catching him in the act of flirting with other people, or me on the verge of leaving him, he would make up these sob stories in order to get me to stay. He lied about living in a household where he was abused and mistreated, lied about being adopted, lied about being in the hospital every week, and even lied about the flirtatious messages I would find between him and other people (he always said that he allowed his cousin to have access to his socal media, and that it was his cousin flirting with all those people). I went from liking him a lot to completely losing interest. Come to find out, he did the same thing to the person he dated before me. I don't know whether to classify that as "crazy in love" or someone who needs serious help.
