I absolutely loved how Loni stepped in for Jeannie when it came to her talking about her divorce. It’s obvious that Jeannie is dealing with so much and wants to just let everyone know what she’s feeling and dealing with and Loni knew her vulnerability just wasn’t right for this moment. THAT’S real friendship and so commendable. I love all of them and love even more that they are getting the recognition they deserve for their efforts and hard work! Wow. Ya’ll, I’ll be honest. When Jeannie first announced her divorce, especially being that she loved Freddy with so much unconditional love and devotion, and spent nearly two decades with him-she spoke about her divorce with so much humility, composure, and didn’t speak ill of him. Not even a little bit. She went on national television and displayed a tremendous amount of vulnerability. She didn’t owe us anything regarding her divorce, but she spoke about it anyway.
And I remember thinking to myself, “Dang. If I were to ever get a divorce, I pray that I can handle it as gracefully as Jeannie did”. Now, watching her discuss it briefly, it’s evident that her soul hurts.
She’s trying to pick her words carefully, not bad mouth him, and not allow speculation to circulate around social media.

I'm grateful for the explanations. I've been watching the Real via RUclips since I was 18 years old (I'm 21 now) and have always wondered why certain things weren't said. The Real's gotten me through a lot of college and young adult -ish (dealing with past trauma related to eating disorders, depression, and anxiety) so I'm honestly really grateful for it. Their discussions on race, politics, and ethnicity are relatable because I'm a straight up mutt (Native American, Puerto Rican, and European descent) so growing up I never felt like I fit in anywhere. And as a creative person, you feel this pressure to fit in society's "perfect box." It's stupid.
Basically, this was a great interview and it's nice to have a show that represents my generation. Hope they have another interview with them where it's more fun.

I love Jeannie but .... she's the one who flipped the script. They got married and was supposed to have a family one day. I saw an episode maybe four years ago about Renovations were they bought their dream house and we're renovating it together for the eventual family. And then she decided she didn't want to have kids. That is what led to the divorce. So I don't know why all the sudden she's acting like poor me. She's married to a long time in the state of California. Obviously he's going to get a big chunk of her coin. And it was the other way around she would have gotten a big chunk of his coin. Her tears have a lot to do with the amount of money she's losing in this divorce. And I think she probably wanted to give him a nice friendly settlement and he went for the jugular. Is that right who knows? But he is a scene, if it was a woman going for the jugular on a man who said that he married her got a house with her we're going to have a family and then flip the switch and decided he wanted to just focus on his career and she got 50% of everything he had doing would be saying a dog on things. So I'm not sure why I Miss Mai thinks we're all here for the tears. And I'm a fan of hers. I don't care about her ex-husband.
