I saw these guys many times at the Bar on the Hill at Newcastle University, Australia. A band I was in at the time opened for them one time and as we were packing up and they were setting up on stage one of them accidently knocked my guitar off its stand, it fell and snapped its headstock. It was an American Gibson Les Paul and also had been my 21st Birthday present so I was pretty gutted,
They were so apologetic and nice about it, they told me to get it fixed and send them the bill, which I did and they paid for the fix no problems at all - never forgot how great they were in sorting it all out.

Being a fifteen year old kid when tunes like this were released made my youth so wonderful.
The 90s were great, seeing so much local Australian talent in the many pubs around the country.
This was my childhood I’d make plastic models and do this, it made me tear up at work when you first released it. I’m in tears now at 53yrs old I’ve found this song again, Thankyou from the bottom of my heart
In my head and in my dreams, I flew every one of those plastic planes I built. Should have 100M views, such a great song.

I remember hearing these guys on JJJ for the first time. It was like the best kick in the ass music-wise I ever got. The young SFK sound was so raw but so beautifully crafted and was heightened more by Paul Dempsey's alluring Lyrics.

This song is great, everything by something for kate is great, but can we give it up for the drummer? Like I was initially attracted to the band by the lyrics, vocals, guitar but the more I listen to them the more I realize that the drums are what holds it altogether through the whole evolution of my love for this band.
