1990, Mick Tucker , Brian Connolly, Stee Priest and Andy Scott being interviewed for Power Hour, Super Channel. Last time the entire band did an interview. together.
In spite of Brian's down hill spiral in the 2nd half of his career in every interview I ever saw he always tried to be articulate and polite and took it as seriously as he could ....A real professional.....This is a real shame what the R&R lifestyle did to him.....
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mick Tucker in the summer of 1990 in San Diego, California. He was an amazing person, a real gentleman, and probably the most under-rated drummer in rock history. Truth is, Mick was an AMAZING drummer and will never be forgotten by those that knew the incredible human being and unequaled talent he truly was. Long live his memory and the music of Sweet.
This group was the best I loved them so sad how Brian Connelly looks omg poor guy shaking so bad it breaks my heart for him. He was so beautiful and to see he's looking so ill oh my and Steve priest he's so funny and cute as well . May Brian and mick both Rest In Peace . God Bless. Amen
Do you think the band realised exactly how unwell Brian was and thought it's now or never to attempt a brief reunion? Tragic to compare BC in this interview to how he was only fifteen or so years earlier. It's well documented how he was largely the architect of his own demise however i read recently his troubles truly began after taking a vicious beating which quickly resulted in his huge and escalating alcohol dependence. A remarkable band and I'll be forever grateful for the music they've given us. RIP Brian Connolly and Mick Tucker - the latter being a distinctly underrated drummer.
It’s an absolute miracle that Brian even could attend to this interview. I’ve been there and I know just how hé felt. Absolutely courageous performance.
I bought Brian's original jacket at an auction. I am very proud of it !!
I felt so sorry for Brian couldn't hold his head up not taking anything away from him there was never a better lead singer in the history of rock
Brian's smile was so beautiful. Fate was cruel to him, but also to his fans. RIP Brian.

So sad to see Brian in such bad health. It just makes me want to cry. One of the greatest rock and roll bands ever - Sweet.

Really sad to see Brian in this state of health ,he should not have been wheeled out in that condition.
