$10 dlc for new game mode and extra bonus features such as dev commentary and lost levels. People focusing on the wrong thing because they've only like complaining.

Then why they just didnt make dlc? And the new mode looks like that they were going to make co-op/multiplaying addition to the game but forgot to do so. Sony just cant never give gamer the additional long lasting fun with adding online/co-op feature to their games...
They really shouldn’t have called this a remaster because it’s really just a ps5 version. Not much changed. It should’ve just been called a directors cut or something and maybe people wouldn’t be hating on it as much

"Remaster" is not a high bar to pass. *Any* kind of visual or audio upgrade would qualify as a remaster.
Im interested in the FOV slider given the original game already has the option to pull the camera back, widening the FOV. Its just hidden in the accessibility options rather than being front and centre in the display options.
Does it maintain a steady frame rate when the camera is pulled back though? Maybe that’s why it’s hidden? Honest question friend.

For some who played it, it was an unnecessary step but for those who are going to play it for the first time, it's an absolute treat.

Ive played it, and somewhat believe it was necessary. Especially in regard to the horrid loading times. Plus, it's 10 bucks only as long as you own the PS4 version, in comparison to Ghost of Tsushima that is currently $30 for the PS5 upgrade...

animation transitions seems a lot smoother during combat. The PS4 version always had a stutter issue with its animations probably due CPU limitations.

It's an incredible tour de force masterpiece of a game that will make you feel all kinds of emotions truly an unforgettable roller coaster that will leave it's imprint on you long after it's done. And it's also just fun as hell to play the combat has been greatly improved from the first game.

Playing on fidelity mode with VRR enabled is great, plus the dual sense addition - it’s made it worth 15$CDN for me personally
People are looking at the negative it's 10 dollars for dlc with new modes and faster framerate. Dev comments, lost levels. I'm excited. 10 bucks worth it for me. 😊

the ps5 upgrade will become its separate game so you will still have ps4 version

The remasters don't impact their main game development at all
Frame rate alone has made this a refreshing and exciting experience. Naughty Dog is too technically impressive to ignore for this one.

Im going to wait for the remaster of this remaster on the ps6. Will get perfomance and fidelity mode in one.
Maybe this would have been partly Sony’s idea, to capitalise on the TV show craze- would have used it as leverage to give Naughty Dog the funds to focus on their next Title or IP.
Also, Naughty Dog doesn’t have a cash cow like Rockstar’s GTA Online, so this would help keep the lights on.
It's seems on stuff like this you really need the 120hz and VRR to even begin to make this purchase make sense.

Which graphic mode is the best to play?
It sounds like Fidelity Mode with 120hz/40fps, but he did mention the inconsistencies being noticeable. Still, it looks like it doesn't drop down - at least not to 30, so that's better right there. Otherwise, normal Performance?

@@BoomSlang001I think he mentioned fidelity 40fps unlocked being inconsistent while the locked 40fps (vrr off) is consistent with very rare drop to 39 fps.

Unnecessary by Naughty Dog. Because there was a free update on the PS5 in 2021 with locked 60fps and 2560x1440 on the PS5. Now the same game again, instead of part 3.

not even. ill take a smooth 45fps with VRR at Native 4k than washed out visuals 1440p 90FPS. And im a PC gamer.
@@bigcrashg VRR doesn’t work on the PS5 below 48fps, the range is 48hz-60hz or 48hz-120hz. That’s why in the video he call’s it “no man’s land” because unlocked fidelity mode runs entirely outside of the VRR window.
